I am prescribed a small amount of hydrocodone for severe migraines ( about 30 pills every 3 months). I have had no trouble filling this rx for years and since my local Rite Aid pharmacy was out of stock, they referred me to the Rite Aid in Rancho Cordova. The pharmacy refused to fill my rx based on the fact that they do not fill pain meds for migraines. They said there are other meds I should be taking instead and to talk to my doctor. I spent 36 hours in intense pain b/c they refused to fill my rx. I called my local pharmacy and explained the situation and they were shocked. Luckily they got a shipment in two days later and filled my rx promptly. I cannot believe that a pharmacy would refuse a legitimate rx. I have reported this to the board of pharmacology b/c my medical needs were denied, and mostly b/c I was given medical advice from a technician that has no education/or license to advise me or change my medical care.

TL;DR, auto refill isn’t automatic. You have to call each month and confirm that things are on time. And if you have a rare med, you should probably start a relationship with a location mid-town where they stock it, instead of in the Burbs.But thumbs-up to the customer service rep who called back to calmly listen to my complaint while fixing nothing.I guess I had high expectations due to my previous experience with WGrns.

Worst pharmacy ever! They lie about not having inventory, but then change their minds if you ask to speak to a supervisor. State that they haven't received prescriptions from the doctor when you have proof that they did! They have the rudest techs that tell you "the pharmacist won't help you". You have to call and ask then to fill an RX after they receive it from Dr.'s office otherwise it might be days! Worst pharmacy ever!

Rite Aid Golden Center Lane is a lovely store and pharmacy. The staff are helpful and efficient. I used to go to a grocery store based pharmacy and now I have switched, wishing I had done this long ago! Also, the non pharmacy store is well stocked with a great variety of health and household items. Overall, I value this place!!

This location is terrible. Customer service is non-existent. Can’t even manage to transfer a prescription. They need to slow down, ask the right questions and actually try to help people. Nobody gives a damn these days. What a mess.

This is my favorite pharmacy and drug store. Convenient location, cleanliness, good stock of products, and friendly/helpful staff. I love shopping here + the rewards program is awesome.

I walked in to the store with my grocery bag from Bel Air full of groceries I had just bought and decided to go to this store for some toiletries. As I was searching for my items an employee was following me around and said I did not walk in to the store with my grocery bag. After I said I did he said no you did not. I decided to leave and handed him the items I had in my hand to purchase. Upon leaving another female employee came from around the corner and pointed at me and said “you did not come into this store with that bag!!” After a couple of exchanges and them saying they were going to review security camera (which I encouraged)!I emptied my groceries into the counter!! This is all in front of other customers. The lady employees still said they were checking security after I had proved myself. as I was walking out She apologized and said oh sorry another customer said you didn’t come in with that bag. I told her she just lost a customer. It seems this a pattern in this store as other reviews seemed to have had the same experience.

If I could give this woman in pharmacy that work tonight on November 14 2023 I give her a 0. She was so ruled and embarrassed. She yelled at me when I ask if I can get a covid injection. Best service I've ever experienced from a pharmacy ever! Everyone is very helpful and friendly. The pharmacist was great and really took his time to help me. He even suggested an over the counter option that was less expensive than my prescription. Very satisfied.

I love this pharmacy!! I was headed to a country in Asia earlier in the year for a few months and needed some travel medications. I'm not familiar with how drug prescriptions cost or anything about insurance and expected a big bill. I went down after my doctor's appointment dreading the worst but it turned out a thousand times better. The pharmacist manager (Tim!! Thx) was able to put a coupon card on one drug that I guess wasn't covered and saved me a hundred dollars. Not only that, but the pharmacy co- manager/assist James also reduced one to like $60 off!! A steal!! It got even better as the girls who rang me out were sooooo cheerful! I didn't get their names but it was a tall young woman as well as a shorter, girl with black hair. Tim also recommended some shots I should get before I left. My doctor did not mention anything about shots???? He and his intern Kyle were able to print out CDC guidelines and were very professional. I called my doctor back about the shots just in case and he said "oh, yeah you should get those". What!! I went back the next day i did not see Tim but Beth who rang my shots out was so cheerful and helpful it was great! I got a few shots, saved lots of money on medication, and had a very fun time overseas! I did not get sick and everything was great!!

I walked into this store holding a broken item I wanted to return. I was holding the item in plain sight, the manager and cashier saw me walk in with it .The manager named Scott accused me of stealing, refused to hear otherwise, and refused to return my item. As a black man, I felt racially profiled. I am not the type of person to call racism for clicks. I am a God fearing, fully employed American. I have never been treated this way before. I am 100 percent sure I am on camera following the rules of this establishment. I will be contacting corporate. Do not shop here if you want to be treated with respect.

Was in here today just to grab a quick soda but when I got to the check out line I overheard the cashier and some customers having a loud conversation that chilled me. When I say I "overheard" it, I didn't have a choice but to hear it as they were talking very loudly. I hear talk of burying democrats 6 feet under, they are all a bunch of "p words" and cry about everything and don't defend this country cause won't sign up for armed services. The first part about killing and burying democrats scared me, the last part about not defending this country angered me. My father and grandfather were both democrat veterans of two wars, and I respected them tremendously. Back to the low score for this review, that cashier should have not have engaged in such a hateful conversation at a place of business in front of other customers. Won't be going to this location again.

I was picking up an order for an UberEats customer. I unsuccessfully searched thru cosmetics. Then Tina, a Rite Aid employee, appeared like a superhero! She was able to find exactly what the customer wanted, including a substitute for an out of stock item! All the while, displaying the kindness and patience that we all need. Thank you again, Tina!
