BEWARE THEIR SERVICE IS FAR FROM FIRST CLASS!!! My move was from Sarasota, Florida to Folsom, California.
My experience has been an absolute nightmare.
They fell short of expectations on multiple levels: losing nearly half of belongings, damaging much more, then denying reimbursement claim.
I took out more than the basic Insurance coverage.
A SIGNIFICANT loss of exceptional irreplaceable items.
This organization DOES NOT CARE ABOUT ANY/ALL OF YOUR POSSESSIONS. They did NOT hesitate taking my $40,000.00 plus dollars for this move.
It should also be noted that there is a severe lack of customer service.
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND YOUR BELONGINGS AND NOT CARE AT ALL.

Their drivers are mostly shady out of state contractors. Ours broke several items, and lost several items. We were rushed through the delivery paperwork signing process at the end of the move and may have screwed ourselves. The driver took our expensive refrigerator door handles in his truck and promised several times to return them but did not. The claims adjustor then sent us a ridiculous insult of a settlement check, which on the advice of our attorney we will not cash. I would not recommend this firm.

I had to have an office moved to a home office and they did that and then some! Helped set up furniture in the new location and got rid of anything that we no longer needed! They even shipped a couple of things for me ( I was setting this up from Mexico) that needed to go to other employees at their home offices. They were professional from the start and I would highly recommend them and will keep them in mind if we have future moving needs! Thanks to John, Alysha and their team! GREAT JOB!!!!!

Duke came through two days ago and I've yet to receive a quote. While he was here he pointed out dirty dishes in the sink and said, "you'll have to clean those first." He looked inside the dishwasher for I don't know what reason. It's my deceased mom's home and some of the furniture is going to Goodwill. Goodwill has already agreed to take the furniture but his comment was "I doubt they will take it." I have a large ceramic planter that my cats have used as a litter box. I understand emptying all planters of dirt but his comment was "you'll have to scrub it." Commenting on my dishes, furniture and other iitems is too much.

Back in April, 2021, Mother Lode Van and Storage did an excellent job of moving our personal property from our former home in San Jose Ca, to our temporary rental home Roseville Ca, while we waited for our new home in Roseville to be built. At that time, I was asked to, and was more than happy to write a review for a company who was very professional, quoted me a reasonable price, showed up when they said they would, completed the work as promised, and charged me EXACTLY the estimated amount! NOW, 6 months later, our new home is ready, and I called Nathan AGAIN to take us the rest of the way on the last leg of this journey. Nathan once again, showed up on time, quoted us a very reasonable price, and on moving day, his crew arrived when they said they would, loaded the moving van in short order, and within a few hours, ALL of our personal belongings were safe and sound in our new home, the Supervisor collected the EXACT AMOUNT we were quoted for the job, and they went about their way. We would not hesitate to use Mother Lode van and Storage again, and highly recommend their services to anyone who is tired of being lied to and screwed around, and want to get the BEST VALUE for their money!!! THANK YOU MOTHER LODE VAN AND STORAGE!!!

We used them for a move at work and I was not thrilled to find various items damaged. I am unsure if they notified anyone of the incidents but some of these items were NEW. It’s very disappointing to see so little care was taken. They were fast in providing boxes and supplies but I wish there had been better care in the moving process.

We moved from California to Florida. We used Mother Lode Van and Storage and North American Van Lines. My husband and I packed some things and the experts packed the fine china and delicate things. The packers from Mother Lode did an excellent job, nothing broke! Maurice, North American Van Lines, was the driver that took our things from California to Florida. Everything arrived in safely. All the packers from Mother Lode and Maurice from North American Van Lines were professional, polite and courteous. Thank you, Debby and Dave

They lie. Break things and REFUSE to pay for them. They broke items well over 20 years old, out of print. I can never get these pieces back. We filed an insurance claim through them and they refuse to compensate for THEIR OWN MISTAKES! Dents in the boxes and all. Absolute trash of a company. Stay the f away! Truly the very worse moving company ever. Stay away. Far away! Trust me. Horrible experience.

They are great, Fast estimate, fast pick up and very professional, however fun to talk too. No wasted calls or delays. Follow up was fantastic at all levels.
