I bought an outdoor garbage can today, made sure I found a lid that fit. Got to the register, the cashier opened the lid to make sure I wasn’t trying to steal anything and I noticed a smell, but I didn’t think too much about it. Loaded up my stuff in the car and headed to Costco… on the way, the can fell over and the lid came off, and the smell was unbearable… once I parked the car I looked in the can and there was a dead mouse.
After Costco I went back to Lowes to return the garbage can. The return cashier was super nice and appalled there was a dead mouse. I went to get another garbage can and the only other one they had of that size had 2 dead mice.
I did use all a favor and didn’t take any pics.

I would give zero stars! We made an order this morning and wanted to cancel this afternoon. We have been told no refund until the item is received in 10 days ! Then we can return it. It is 2024 right Lowe’s!? Why can’t an order be canceled and refunded within the same day? You do have computers right? NEVER EVER ORDER ANYTHING From these thieves

I'm a big fan of the garden center. I get a lot of help when I go there. People who work there are able to locate items in the store by aisle and bin.

Trying to get ANYONE to EVER answer their phone at SLOWE’S to see if something is in stock is IMPOSSIBLE!! How do they stay in business??? No one helps when you go to the store either, they never have actual cashiers - only the ones where I do everything myself (hmm, when do I get my paycheck for being their cashier??)and I am trying to find out if something is in stock that requires a truck and someone to help me so I can purchase. SEVEN CALLS, THREE and 1/2 HOURS, and ONLY ONE ANSWERED CALL, but she was too lazy to look to see if this was in stock, claimed she asked “someone else” to look and then after I told her it had taken 45 minutes JUST to get to her she HANGS UP!!! SLOWE’S is HORRIBLE!!!! I am sure they will be going out of business if THIS is their example of providing customer “service”!!

DO NOT EVER install with them. Their contractors, and customer support are rude and defensive. They will take forever to install a dishwasher and tell you to compete the job yourself. The plumber just left the gross pipe on our kitchen counter and told my wife I need to complete the work. All they had to do is communicate in a timely manner what work was needed to be done and for how much. They just do the bare minimum and run out. I used a plumber and they will run out for you and grab pieces and make sure that the job is done. Not Lowes, they will act like you are the problem, when it’s their hack Job contractor. We have used Home Depot many times for our house and business, and have always been handled so well with such polite staff and contractors. Use Home Depot, beware of Lowes. This is 100% accurate and authentic. We live in Sacramento, CA.
This part was added after Lowes tried to respond to my post:
Unfortunately, we made so many calls and were constantly met with, I don’t know what the problem is and we will call you back that we would never required anything from Lowes ever. It was just such bad service and execution that it took all the enjoyment out of buying a new dishwasher. Also, the audacity of that worker to come into my house with my wife and kids and not only do a poor job, but to tell my wife to tell me I have to finish the job is just beyond us. His, I don’t want to be here attitude and shortness with my wife is uncalled for. I paid you and would have paid whatever it took to complete the work if needed, but your contractor hates his job and made sure my wife knew it while she was with our 2 and 5 year old sons. Sorry Lowes, back to Home Depot to pay more for better service. We thought you guys were a good option because of price, but you get what you pay for. You guys need to do better, but we won’t be around to have our time and money wasted next time. Sorry and no thank you. We were without a correctly function dishwasher for almost a month because of Lowes. Apartment maintenance men complete dishwasher instals in a day and you guy made me do it myself with my busy schedule. I won’t be walking in those doors. I wrote this review to help ensure no one else has there time and money wasted by Lowe’s bad contractors and customer support.
