My husband and I came to town last week for a wedding. We got up and 2 a.m., left the Oregon coast at 4 a.m. and arrived to the Sacramento area around 2 p.m. it was a loooong day and we needed some restorative rest, badly, to join in the wedding festivities the next day. The room was nearly $300/night or $1100+ for the entirety of our 4 night stay, so I figured i wouldn't need to pack a hair dryer or fresh towels with which to wash my face. The "fresh towels" folded on the counter had thick black hairs woven throughout. The toilet tank had been shattered and was "glued back together." Umm...What.. ? I was willing to overlook both. However, when I laid down on the bed... the headboard actually was at a downward angle of many degrees, putting us at a downhill slope. We had to put our pillows at the FOOT OF THE BED. Umm...WHAT...??The mattress was hard, lumpy, noisy, and was the MOST UNCOMFORTABLE bed I HAVE EVER PAID MONEY on which to lie. It was INTOLERABLE. I didn't sleep a wink and actually cried I was so exhausted and frustrated. During my sleepless night I took the opportunity for good look around and O.M.G. EVERY corner of the room had caked dust, webs and either one dead mouse or a petrified dust bunny...? I didn't get close enough to verify. YIKES!! There was broken glass on the bathroom floor, thick dust on outlets and EVEN a dusty, old garment that someone left ages ago...still lurking behind the dresser. The carpet was old and gross. The fridge had a layer of dust on the top, a funky smell inside along with a large ice block in the back that needed to be defrosted... MONTHS ago... The next morning we went down to see the GM, Suzanne. We went down 4 times before she rolled in at the crack of 9 a.m. when we were told she was expected "around 8." Way to set the bar low...GM. When I showed her the photos of the MANY examples of filth AND LONG TERM neglect, her eyes got big, she comped our room and we moved to the LOVELY Hyatt Place right across the street where the entire hotel was SPARKLING, the staff was attentive and the FREE BREAKFAST BUFFET was actually edible!! Here's where things REALLY went south.... she told us to put the sign on the door when we left to the wedding, to prevent housekeeping from entering our room and that we could check out AFTER the wedding. We STILL moved our stuff out of the room but came back to check out and do one last sweep of our gross room to make sure we didnt leave anything. When we got back, our room HAD been entered and "cleaned" as the beds were made up, etc... BUT... ALL THE DUST IN ALL THE CORNERS AND EDGES, the BROKEN GLASS, the filthy outlets and EVEN THE OLD MAROON GARMENT was STILL BEHIND THE DOOR!!! AND.... Our key still worked!!! We again spoke to the GM... and we shared our SHOCK that our room had been entered and that it STILL WASNT EVEN CLEANED! Even the petrified dust bunny was still lurking in it's corner!! This is an example of pure laziness, complacency and just not caring. I have photos I hope to post soon.... THEY SPEAK VOLUMES.
Room 307.
You've been warned!! Safe travels to all.

My company and I have stayed here a few times. The customer service is always top notch! This weekend we are in town for the Aftershock event and Chaz (front desk) was super helpful and accommodating. Thank you for taking such great care of us :)

AC went out… hard to recommend. Accommodated but there’s better options available in other locations honestly.

Stayed here for work during an assignment to a fire, the staff was very friendly and the rooms were spacious and clean. It's a little out of the way and there isn't much close by within walking distance.

They charge $14 for parking in Rancho Cordova. That's ridiculous.

We were very lucky and had a very good stay. Room was nice but there were not enough towels. They brought them up very quickly after we called though. The breakfast had a variety of things to select from. We would definitely stay here again

Continuation of our roadtrip on the west coast of the United States. Our fifth hotel was super cool! The rooms were very clean and pretty, which made our stay very pleasant. The hotel also offered a swimming pool and laundry facilities (for a fee), which was very convenient. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We went down to wash our clothes in the evening and had coffee. The receptionist even asked us if we wanted anything with our coffee, which really made us happy. The service was excellent and the lunch was also very good. We are really happy with our stay and highly recommend this hotel!

This hotel was overall similar to other three stars hotels. The breakfast was very disappointing. Fruit looked like it had been sitting for 3 weeks and no cream for coffee, what? How do you run out of cream? I don’t get it.

My wife who has dementia was going through major back surgery at a hospital. I stayed here so I could be with her as much as possible.
The staff and management was extremely supportive to us and did everything they could to help me financially and emotionally.
I have never had such a wonderful experience with a hotel stay as this.

Rooms are on the older side. Front desk staff are great, friendly and welcoming. However, the breakfast lady was very cold and grumpy. Breakfast offerings are sadly also lacking compared to other Hampton Inn I've stayed before.

We stayed at this hotel for a basketball tournament and were pleasantly surprised. Clean rooms with comfortable beds, good WiFi, responsive thermostat, plenty of outlets and USB ports, GREAT tv options, full size quality bathroom products, nice breakfast and the friendliest staff. They had a variety of snacks for purchase are reasonable prices, and coffee and ice water in the lobby all day long.
