Nice park with big trees for shade. Grass is cut a bit long for good soccer but is in decent shape. There are a lot of this time of year (late summer).

It's an okay park. Except for an old fashioned playground, some trees, some seating and some strangely out of place concrete barrier walls poking up, it's mostly featureless. There are some sports facilities nearby but they belong to the school. It's kept well watered and very green however, so it's a brilliant place to walk your dog or host a small casual party. It does have an area usually used and marked as a soccer field as well. Playground looked alright. There are no public restrooms and no doggy poop bag dispensers.

Sadly tennis courts have no nets and limited parking do not make for a great park and it shows in the lack of use and upkeep of amenities and facilities

Typical neighborhood park and a great place to walk your dog! Unfortunately the recent storm blew down one of the oldest and most beautiful trees.

Pretty park, lots of green grass and shade trees but we went in the hopes of playing tennis but alas, the 2 courts were locked up and no Nets either. Too bad, I wanted to give my son his 1st lesson and our 1st use of the rackets we brought. Had a pleasant walk though!

Big grass areas, tennis courts are ok, and the playground is very decent for the kiddos. We will be back for more play time.

Dave Roberts Community Park is nice. It used to be called El Manto Park. There is still one El Manto Park in Rancho Cordova at The El Manto River Access part of the American River Parkway. Therefore there used to be two parks named El Manto Parks in Rancho Cordova one community park called El Manto Park now called Dave Roberts Community Park and the American River Parkway El Manto Park in between mile 18 and mile 17.5 of the American River Bike Trail. Back in 2003 I listened to a lot of 1980's music at El Manto Community Park when I was 20 and 21 years old. It's cool that it's called Dave Roberts Community Park. Also Dave Roberts was my soccer coach back in 1988 when I was 5 and 6.

This is a nice park overall, but it could be so much nicer if they would just install some picnic benches.

No pic ic benches to have lunch. But it backs up to 2 schools. I imagine they don't want loiterers.
