Took my vehicle in last week with an appointment for a rotation and balance. After checking in (on time!) with the manager, he stated the service would take an hour and they'd call when it was ready. That seemed relatively standard; however, their follow-up notice was unexpected.
After an hour wait, they called to notify that there was light feathering on the tires and that they WOULD NOT do the rotation. They recommended I take it to a different tire service center for an alignment. Two representatives worked on this vehicle, one named Alez, and the other was the manager.
On the same day, I took the vehicle to a local Les Schwab center. It was extremely disappointing to be informed that there was absolutely NO ALIGNMENT necessary for any of the 4 tires and that it's against their policy to rob customers of $125-145.00 for the service if unnecessary. Frankly put, the Les Schwab team confirmed that although feathering was present, the solution for that issue was a rotation and balance and that they suspected that the Costco Tire Center was dishonest about the real reason they didn't complete the service. Ultimately, the service received from Costco Tire Center warrants less than one star due to such practices and lack of transparency. Do better! And customers, beware!! ???♀️

When I dropped my wheel I was told that it’ll take like 2 hours and they said they’ll replace my spare tire on the car, I will get a call when it’s ready. I got a call after 3.5 hours and when I got there I was told that I should wait in line another 35 min or so. When I asked ‘why did you call me to come over and now I should wait again?’ the guy at the counter kept yelling ‘I didn’t call you, it’s up to you, I didn’t call you!’
The issue I see is not necesaarily that I waited for long, or that they have called me when they shouldn’t have, but the “supervisor” at the counter was rude and anything but polite.

Nice people, manager is a really nice guy. They do their best to help within their limits and try to ensure customers are happy with the service.

My conclusions after purchasing 2 sets of NEW Bridgestone Ecopia tires on two different cars.
1. They don't honor their 90 day warranty period whether it is a defect or dissatisfaction with their tires. You are stuck with low quality tires. You may end up spending thousands of dollars trying to find the cause of a vibration and in the end find out the issue is with your BRAND NEW tires.
2. They double stack balancing weights onto your wheels even though this AGAINST industry standard and even harmful to your car if they fly off. Then they don't take ownership of their mistake even if you bring it up to corporate.
3. Non-appointments treated like 3rd class citizens. Plan your random flats accordingly. Don't expect to get any service even if you show up 5 hours before closing.
4. They have HORRIBLE record keeping. They document two different cars under one car's records. Horrible for your carfax report.
5. They almost never pick up the phone. They often send your call through some endless loop. If they pick up, they have difficulty looking up what service you have had before.
6. They do inferior/ low tech balancing (static balancing). America's tire does dynamic balancing.
7. They are corporate owned, not privately owned like America's Tire. You will be treated accordingly.
8. Most workers here don't know much about cars. Most are previous shelf stockers.

They have no respect for customers time.
I had an appointment. I was 5 minutes late and Brian cancelled my appointment for a walk in. Told me I had to wait 2-2.5 hours. Then at 3:25 he pulled in the Tesla SUV that was the walk in that he gave my time slot to. 20 minutes after I arrived, he starts working on customer car he he bumped me for.
I just spent 1200.00 on the new tires he put on for my KIA SUV. I had planned to purchase $1600 worth of tires for my F-350. After that slap in the face fat chance. You don't respect my time you don't get my money.

I was in and out in 20 minutes, everyone was super helpful and I had my tire fixed promptly. I couldn’t believe how affordable that was! Thank you everyone!

This tire center is great. I have taken all my cars here for tire related service. Have gotten tires replaced as new purchase and under warranty, tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) checked and replaced, tire condition examined, tire rotation, and even bought my replacement car batteries here.Their service is top notch. Always friendly and able to answer any tire related questions. Pao and his staff are great to deal with. I've never had a bad experience.I highly recommend planning ahead, going online, and making an appointment. The place stays pretty busy and it would be difficult to drop in to get work done unless you're okay with leaving the car there for several hours. With an appointment, you go do your Costco shopping while they work on your car. When you're done with your Costco shopping, your car will be ready for you. I had a great experience here after a bad experience at the Expo Costco.A tire from we bought from Costco had some sidewall damage, and when the Expo location said it was cosmetic only and gave us an attitude, the Rancho location replaced it no problem and even said “customer service first.”Cosmetic or not, it was debatable, but I would not have felt comfortable having my wife and kids drive on it for another 50,000 miles.

Zero Stars…..Avoid This Location came in for tire rotation under warranty had appointment @10 was told a 10 min job should take 1 hour , waited the hour and came back and said something and then they want to start and Fredrick proceeded to say I’m not going to work that fast while laughing like my time is a joke

There are 3 times that I require the service and they only say that the manager is busy being racist, I had a flat tire and he told me that I had to make an appointment, everyone there is bad-tempered and lazy they should change the manager or boss
