I was shopping in the store and had items over my arm, still shopping I was near the door looking at something on the rack when the store clerk came up to me and asked if I was going to pay for the merchandise. I will never shop here again !

Came here to buy work gloves, there were multiple people working, and my experience was pleasant. Went in the other day with a few coworkers to get some boots and there was only one person working. She seemed off, somewhat annoyed. idk why, her being 6+ months pregnant managing the store by herself may have been a contributing factor. My coworker was ordering boots and then afterwards I bought a pair of safety glasses. After going back to work I noticed I grabbed the wrong pair than the ones I wanted from the display, so the next day I went back to exchange them. The same pregnant employee greets me at the door, she seemed to be peering outside before I walked in. I asked if there was some sketchy activity going on outside or something and she said "yeah so I'm suspicious of anyone without a license plate" referring to me because my car doesn't have a license plate on the front end. I thought that was a little unprofessional to say to a returning customer she's seen twice before in the last week. Nevertheless I proceeded to exchange the glasses accompanied by the awkward tension in the room that she had created. Before the transaction was completed she notified me that the police were on the way.. I don't know what happened, or if that was just a lie to scare me off or what.. but that lady needs some maternity leave because she is obviously too stressed out to be managing that store by herself. I was nothing but polite every time I came into this store, and to be met with such a weird unwelcoming atmosphere is disappointing considering how much I enjoy this store's selection of merchandise.

Walked in, looked at pants and neither girl acknowledged me. I asked to try on a pair of pants to varify my size and was told changing room is closed due to theft. I am clean cut looking guy with one pair of pants. Very poor customer service and size selection is low. I was interested in getting some boots as well. I would choose another store to buy from.

Extremely disappointed with the professionalism of my first experience here. I purchased some coveralls yesterday after work. I was quite dirty and unable to try them on in store. I was helped by Abigail who was very nice and I asked about their return policy, she said if they were unworn, tag intact and I had my receipt, I would be good to go. Today I came back to try and return them because of course they did not fit, luckily Abigail was there and remembered me. We are going through the motions of a return when what I believe is the manager(dark hair woman tattooed fingers) comes over and tells her it’s not allowed and motions to the receipt. Unfortunately she was too busy talking on the phone about “sutter roseville” and other personal matters to actually have a conversation with me about the policy and how Abigail had made a mistake telling me I would be able to return the coveralls. Extremely unprofessional and just plain rude. This being my first purchase with Barebones and will absolutely be my last! I should have been refunded for the perfectly fine coveralls, and Abigail informed about the policy for the next customer that asks.

Man, they have shirts that actually fot me! Finding work shirts in Tall sizes is usually a wild goose chase but they have em here! Overalls were slim pickings in my size (42x32), but I guess it's a common size as they had some above and below my size. Work boots are cool but not exactly what I was in the market for (western style safety boots).

Not the greatest experience here. I came here in hopes of finding a black button down shirt. This place sounded like a logical place to look, being that it's a work wear store (I searched uniform store, and this was the closest result)The clothes in the front of the store, when I walked in, looked like more casual type stuff than work, to me. Oh yeah, and it appeared to be pretty much all men's clothes. If you are a dude who needs Dickies or Ben Davis, by all means, this is the place for you. Otherwise, you might check elsewhere. I had much better luck finding what I needed at the goodwill store just down the street.On top of it all, the clerk let me wander this tiny store and didn't acknowledge me until I was about to leave the store. I guess that one other customer made it too difficult to say hello.

I bough a pair of Irish Setter Red Wings pair of boots. After 2 1/2 months, the boots fell apart. My toes were exposed, literally. I contacted Red Wings, they sent me back to Bare Bones and Bare Bones gave me a full refund. Amazing customer service. Customer FOR LIFE!!!
