I have hired Yuriy for the vehicle repair after the accident. And I was extremely happy with the outcome. If you're looking for an honest shop and a quality job of your vehicle this is the place where I would highly recommend to bring the vehicle to. They do all sorts of different kinds of vehicle related jobs. I would definitely recommend them to whomever wants to get their vehicle repaired. Please give them a call and thank me later.

Smoke started billowing out from under the hood of my car while I was in rush hour traffic the other day. A good Samaritan led me to Dave at ADD Performance. Unlike the AAA tow truck driver, who predicted that I'd need a new engine and scared the bejeepers out of me, Dave calmly looked the car over, diagnosed a blown hose, and replaced it -- even though it was past his closing time. His price was so far beyond reasonable that it's ridiculous. I'm nursing this 20 year old Acura Integra for as long as it'll hold up, and I suspect that's going to be a whole lot longer with Dave's help. In fact, I'm going back this Saturday to have him replace all the hoses, some of which are still factory originals -- which the dealership I'd been going to had never replaced, even though they should have been replaced eight years ago. So good to find someone honest and affordable.

I brought my car here after my regular mechanic ran out of patience in diagnosing and repairing a check engine light dealing with ignition issues. Dave found and fixed the problem quite easily. I will definitely bring my cars here in the future.

I've been taking my cars to Dave McDonald for 28 years. I have also turned countless other folks on to his expertise, honesty, hard work and great prices. Of all the attributes a mechanic can have, the two that are the most important are knowledge, the real kind, not the kind that is designed to make a fast buck and honesty. Neither are of any use without the other. Dave possesses both in spades. I was at my wits end when I drove my car into his business 28 years ago and he has been saving my cars and my friends ever since. Do yourself a favor. Stop paying dealership prices and at least ask Dave what he thinks. I promise you won't be sorry.

When my Toyota Tacoma needed its 60k service, I wound up taking it to ADD Performance in Rancho Cordova. I had a very positive experience. First off, Dave, the owner's, communication was excellent. I'm an e-mail kinda guy, and he had no problem providing timely and detailed emails outlining what my 60k service would include so I could compare his prices to other shops. He covered every aspect of a 60k service, as outlined in my owner's manual, and more for a fraction of what other local shops were quoting. Dave went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. While the truck was in the shop, Dave noticed that it made an odd clanking sound when put in reverse. It had been happening for some time, and no other shop had even noticed it. But concerned for my (and the truck's) well being, Dave had me bring the truck back in so he could determine what the issue was. He spent considerable time tracking down the problem, exploring remedies, and even contacting Toyota to get more info. Turns out, it's a common flaw with my model truck that didn't require an immediate fix. Dave suggested we take care of it when it comes time for new brake pads instead of trying to upsell me on more work. In fact, it was quite the opposite -- he didn't charge me a dime for his efforts. Be forewarned that you won't get the cheery receptionist and the plate of free donuts when you arrive at the shop -- Dave runs a lean operation. But that means less overhead which translates into lower prices for his customers. I had an excellent experience with Dave and ADD Performance and can easily recommend him the next time your car or truck needs a little TLC.
