If I could give no stars, I would so I went in there, and I brought six rings, all white gold and 14 karat gold all worth anywhere between 300 and more per ring on a loan and I know this because I’ve loaned them before and he offered me $400 Completely lowballed me then my husband says let’s see what he’ll offer me for this, so my husband takes off his necklace that I know for a fact weighs a lot it weighs 42 g which I know that we can get anywhere between $1500-$1700 like for example in Escondido or like in Arizona I mean gold is up and yet he wants to offer me $1000 which is I’m sorry a laughable price because at the end of the day he’s pretty much telling me that his stuff is worth more than what my stuff is worth now don’t get me wrong. He has nice stuff in there but now I’m leery of even buying anything in his store because look at the reviews that he has and now I’m putting a review on there because of what he did to me and this was the very first time I’ve ever been in there. I guess I should’ve checked the reviews before going in there.

I needed a lone on my gold necklaces i took them to jewelry world I was wearing them when I went in , definitely not broken I asked the employee to please take them off of me and he did, however when I went back to pick them up one was broken in two different places they couldn't help me because they didn't have a manager on duty and that I would have to wait until Monday and they would call me , no call so i took them to a good jewelry shop in Poway I got the receipt and it would be 40 dollars, I called the pawn shop Jeff the manager said that he would not pay for the damage and he talked over me when I was trying to explain the situation rude my point is don't again don't take anything valuable to this po/ dunk rip off pawn shop find someone who will take care of your valuable pieces and take responsibility!!!!!! Sofa king terrible business practice!

Horrible experience. Sold me a piece of junk ring, no papers. I tried to return it right after and he gave me a line of nonsense. Then several months later I tried to sell it back and he insulted me. Liars and tricksters.

I took a watch to Jewelry World & Loan for a battery replacement. The next day the watch stopped working. I took the watch to another place that specializes in watches. I was told that not only was the battery put in by Jewelry World & Loan low charge (possibly used), but that the way the battery had been put in did damage to the watch's gasket, which means it may no longer be water resistant. The watch is working for now, but I was told by the watch specialist that it may stop working again, and if that is the case, the watch will need to be replaced. Suffice to say, I am very unhappy and will not be frequenting this establishment EVER again! Word to the wise: If you need your watch battery replaced, go to The Watch Lady in Poway. STAY AWAY from Jewelry World & Loan. They cost me both time and money! Review update 01/27/2024: As of this morning, the watch that I referred to in the above review has stopped working. I have been forced to order a replacement. I stand by my previous review.

I came into this place to get my moms ring and bracelet looked at and jasper cleaned and appraised it for me at no cost ! The service was excellent and the jewelry in here is so gorgeous you must come see it ! A great atmosphere!! Before this ring was dull not shinny looked worthless !

I have a collection of gems and jewelry that I have collected over many years. I brought my collection in to this store and was treated quite rude by the owner..He grabbed my collection which I had in a small box and then realized what he had done but was just plain rude..I will never go there again and do not recommend this place.

Had my watch battery replaced a while back. The backing was not tight enough and the plastic sleeve inside was broken. Now my water resistant watch needs to be repaired

I needed two watches serviced. One for a battery replacement and another for links taken out. He asked me what I needed done and worked on it immediately. He had to size the watch a couple times to make sure it would fit. At the end he had it fit perfectly. He did it so fast I didn't even know he already replaced the battery on my other watch. I was in and out in like 20 minutes. Not to mention great pricing only $15 for both watches. Highly recommend this place!
