“We had a bad tire on our pull trailer as we were traveling through this area. I called to verify they had what I needed. She gave me an out the door price and told me they had RV parking. She was very pleasant and efficient. When we got there, they mentioned our other three tires also looked old so we had all replaced for a very fair price. Javier was efficient and friendly. He checked our other tires air pressure before we decided to purchase all new. Would definitely recommend this place for out-of-town travelers.”

“I've taken three of my trucks here on many different occasions for oil , brake changes, and suspension. It's affordable, and quick. I've not had any issues with mons. He's super busy so I usually call him the day before needing to take it in. I also personally don't blame them on the homeless situation because that's the Salinas city's/Monterey county's issue. Anyways, if you want someone who isn't going to charge you an arm and a leg, and does great work, I recommend Mons!”

“I got the chance to drive a friend's 1998 Honda CRV and was impressed with its excellent condition. According to my friend that she got the CRV as a mechanic special. She brought it to Austin of A & C Auto Repair and had it fixed. The transmission was replaced and some other work were done for a very reasonable cost. I then called 3 weeks ago for an 02 sensor replacement. I already went to a different auto shop demanded 255 usd advanced payment for the job and part to be done on Friday and it was just a Monday. That was then I decided to try A and C Auto Repair. I called and Agustin answered. Told him my problem. He asked me to bring my car, inspected and fixed it for way less than what the other shop was demanding me to pay. He showed me the work done on my 1997 camry. New part was installed and neatly done. If you want an experienced, does great work on all types of cars, trucks, honest and reasonably priced mechanic, visit Agustin at A and C Auto Repair Shop on 245 Front St., Salinas, CA.”

“Dixon& Son Tires has been around since God made dirt. That's a long time. They had good customer service then and they have managed to get a little better. They are polite, helpful, and professional. Dusty is the manager and a straight shooter. If it can be reasonably done he insures it. They're grubby because their work is grubby but they are conscientious when working on your vehicle. They are simply all around good people. Do I believe in them? Yep...I drive all the way from Hollister to deal with them. Knock on wood..... haven't had a bum trip yet.....”

“Very highly recommended! I stopped in this past Thursday without an appointment, looking to pinpoint an exhaust system rattling and vibration at idle/low speed. Howard moved my car onto the rack and quickly showed me the source of the problem: a loose heat shield and a crack near the muffler. He gave me a fair estimate and his son started on the repairs. Less than an hour later I was back on the road, my overall expectations greatly exceeded. It's a shame that this level of friendly, personal, and high quality service is now the exception and not the norm.”
