Made an appointment with Albana. She showed up 5 minutes late which was not a big deal, but upon her return, she nonchalantly walked passed me and proceeded to chit chat with with the other tellers while I'm sitting at her desk. She could of cared less about being late. So I waved goodbye and left.

Got appointment online. Arrived a bit earlier. Kelly guided me through available products. In less than one hour i had my checking & savings accounts and card ready. I also got a lot of information about credit cards and mobile app. Great customer experience! Thanks!

Just finished getting my business account taken care of at this branch and my Client Relationship Consultant Jenna was top-notch! She helped me get everything taken care of to set my account up correctly, and I can't say enough great things about her service! Thank you, Jenna!

The staff at this location was very friendly and professional during my visit yesterday. Donna C. provided me with exceptional knowledge and customer support in taking the time to answer some complex questions. Thank you Donna and staff for your service at the US Bank/Poway branch.

Talk about an initial bad impression. I had been with Union Bank for my business bank for over 25 years. During the transition to US Bank I spent a weekend setting up new links to other financial institutions with my now US Bank accounts. Nightmare City. I have worked 25 years in IT and never had so much trouble setting up digital links with other banks. I decided to talk, in person, to a branch about my issues. I made a formal appointment through US Bank and was set up to speak to Courtney at the Poway branch. I arrived on time and found no one to great me as direct me to Courtney. Finally I went to a teller who told me to sit in the waiting area and he would find Courtney. When she finally arrived, rather than inviting to a desk she said, "can I help you?" I said, yes we have an appointment, again not inviting to a desk to discuss my issues. I told her I have several problems with my accounts and could we go somewhere to discuss these rather than sitting in the waiting area to talk over my issues. She pointed to an empty desk and said she first had to do some banking transaction and would met me there when she was done. I had an appointment and was treated like an inconvenient walk in. I felt she was totally disinterred and unconcerned with my issues. Finally a gentleman came to the desk and introduced himself as Brian and we went through my issues, some of when were resolved some of which are still pending. In the 25 years I was with Union Bank, I had never received such rude, disinterested behavior from a bank employee. Thank you for being attentive, Brian, because after my experience with Courtney I was ready to pull my 6 figured business and personal accounts from US Bank and find a bank that treats the customer first. Remember, it's our money that goes into your bank, not yours.

I have had US Bank close two branches I was in. First in Poway and then Scripps Ranch. This branch provides reasonable service for my transactions but had no safe deposit boxes were at that time available.

For some reason we received our California Middle Class Tax Refund on a Debit card instead of Direct Deposit. Reading the fine print with row after row of charges I decided to get our money at an ATM which turned out to be located in U.S. Bank. I walked in expecting at best a so-so reception as I figured they must be tired of non-customers coming in only to take out money. Was I ever suprised. I was greeted with a smile and when I explained why I was there, the teller (Donna C.) walked me over to the ATM and explained the entire process, limitations, etc. She was great and it was obvious that she didn't care if I was a regular customer or not, she was going to provide stellar service, which she did. Obviously you can't judge an entire bank on one employee or one interaction, but if Donna is any indication, this is a great place to do business. An additional note, I went back the next day and had forgotten that Donna had told me to select Checking, even though I didn't have an account with them. The teller who was working, helped me out, and once again, I received prompt and courteous service. Kudos to some Great employees!!

the call center is better at customer service than this joke of a branch. The bank manager I have no idea how she got prompted and her tellers are often rude and to questiontative about your bank account. This bank doesn't even know its own policies they a re poorly trained. Recently my elderly mother closed her bank card and this bank kept giving her the run around instead of providing a temporary card, and rush ordering her a new card. The bank was comfortable 100 percent at denying her any help to access her funds while in town.

This branch is the worst! Normally only has one teller. Hate going there! The reps arent very experienced and no managers work on Saturdays!

Terrible. I went in to do something that I do all the time and the women who worked there didn't even know their own bank policies and were also rude about it. Where is the 0 star option?

The Poway Branch of US Bank was my "home branch" but I never set foot in the branch itself. This review is in regards to the US Bank website and customer support line. Every transaction I had with this bank was a pain in the a*** They lured me into opening an account with a $400 account opening bonus. To qualify, I needed to have direct deposit at least $4k within 60 days and enroll in e-statements. Since all my bills were paid form my regular bank account (not my new, US Bank account), I tried to establish external transfers via the US Bank site, but it was confusing and I ended up calling their customer support number for help (I've never needed help with setting this up on any of my credit union's websites). The customer services person told me that I needed to set up a "POP" payment method because otherwise I would be charged a fee for every transfer. The POP transfers take nearly a week to process and, on one occasion, I had not received the money into my primary bank's account even though the money had been deducted from my US Bank account. When I called, I was told the POP transfer had "gotten stuck" and they could cancel the transaction and I could resubmit and try again. It went through but by the time I had finally gotten the money into my primary account, it had been nearly two weeks. I subsequently called again because there are POP transfer limits which meant that, every time my paycheck was deposited, it would take me several POP transfers, spaced out over several days, in order to get my paycheck transferred into my account with my regular bank. I called and asked whether there was any way to remove those limitations and was told no, but that I should just add my external bank account information in another area of the US Bank website and, if I did that, I wouldn't have those limits. I explained that I was previously told there were transfer fees for doing it that way but the customer service person I spoke to this time said there were no fees for transfers. Following her guidance, I was then able to set up external transfers. But I really, really, really dislike being given wrong information. So after all this, by the time I received my $400, I knew I was going to stay with my primary bank so I closed the account with US Bank via their customer service number. I just shook my head when, after waiting on hold for a live person to answer my call, a customer service person answered and asked how she could help me. Because, when I stated that I had called to close my account, the only things she asked for was my account information and, after placing me on hold for a few minutes, she returned to let me know that she had cancelled my account. Apparently they were not even interested in regards to why I wanted to close the account. Bottom line: Every encounter/transaction that I had with US Bank was weird. If you want a good bank with employees who are professional, give you correct information and treat you right, don't go to a bank (especially don't go to US Bank). Go to a Credit Union!
