Was referred to Poway transmissions from my usual shop and glad they did. Monica was friendly on the phone and helped me get scheduled for my visit. On the day of my appointment Monica was taking care of another client so Lloyd came out to assist. He was friendly and professional and got me situated and checked in. After some diagnosing they determined the issue and provided some recommendations and a quote. No hard sales tactics just an honest assessment of the situation and course of action to help get my vehicle road worthy again. The fellas at my shop said Poway transmissions would take care of me and my vehicle and after my experience with Lloyd and Monica I'm glad I was referred to them. Thank you for taking care of me and my jeep. Y'all gained a new customer in me and if I should ever need transmission service for any of my vehicles in the future I know where to go.

Manny and the team are the best! I have a notoriously destructive transmission, 3-4 clutch failure, they did the work with a 2 year warranty to boot. Had an issue with the torque converter a few months later and they handled it under the warranty including a custom external oil cooler which everyone recommends for my truck anyways. Could not ask for better service from a shop. They were recommended to me by a friend that is a hot rod fanatic and I will do the same for anyone that needs to find a trustworthy shop. No hassle and made me feel like part of the family with every interaction. Poway Transmissions is really a "One Stop Destination" to repair vehicle transmissions. Al, a true master mechanic, is my go to associate for any professional service I may need. Al does wonderful work, always investing a lot of time with his customer vehicles and gets everything to the “T”. The location is great, the price is very reasonable and has great customer services all the time. An adventure to get there. Attempting to drive out 56 to poway. Made it ½ way and had to call AAA. In all it took me a couple hours But after arriving, a young man named Preston located the parts, drove to get them and within 15 min had the 500sl running like new! Been 2 days and no issues. He also stressed having the OEM factory parts is key. Rest assured, knowing it was fixed as a dealership would, but for ½ the price, illustrious!
