I believe this was the easiest car purchase I have ever had! Malik, our sales guy was great. I shared with him the offer Another dealer had given us which certainly wasn’t bad and they beat it significantly. They were pretty up front on the additional warranty and other add-ons but I was able to decline this additional stuff through the sales and finance portion without any real trouble at all.
They were a little understaffed in the finance department, so there were some delays but all in all not terrible and we got the whole thing done in about three hours on a busy Friday night and now have a brand new 25 CRV hybrid! I highly recommend this dealership. Thanks Malik, for all of your help good technical knowledge of the product, and respecting us as customers and helping us get a great deal!

Based in San Jose CA, I was looking for leasing a Honda CIVIC in the Bay Area for my son who lives in San Diego. Through positive online reviews I found Poway Honda in SD and spoke with Gary. Within 24hours, via email and phone, we agreed on a very competitive quote, we had clear and precise communication and I felt comfortable to close the deal. This has been the worst dealership experience I’ve ever had. The dealership lost my financial paperwork exposing and compromising my personal information. Then they asked me to come in to re-sign the paperwork, and kept me waiting over 20 minutes. When I was finally in a position to inspect the paperwork, it was incorrect. The woman in charge insisted that I sign the paperwork anyway, and became extremely argumentative. I made notations on the paperwork where it was incorrect and left as soon as possible.
It was the worst dealership experience that I’ve ever had and I‘ve purchased several vehicles from vehicles from Ford, GM, and GM.I’ll never purchase a Honda or Acura vehicle again after this.

I received a recall notice from Honda regarding my 2019 Honda Clarity Plug In Hybrid for a failed AC component (condenser) which is a known defect in the system for this vehicle. Poway Honda diagnosed the problem and confirmed the faulty condenser had failed. In addition, however, a second component of the AC system also failed (evaporator) which was not included in the Service Bulletin 21-017 recall but is associated with the same system failure. Poway Honda quoted me $2850 to repair the evaporator at my own expense and suggested I contact Honda America for a "Goodwill" discount. Honda America rejected my request. Poway Honda will not complete the NHTSA issued recall repair unless both components are replaced. Faulty AC systems are a hazard on modern vehicles as they are integral to the function of the windshield defrost per NHTSA. I submitted a notice to the NHTSA regarding the evaporator failure but am left with a faulty AC with no further assistance from Honda.

This is our 5th car from Poway Honda. The customer service is always on point for us and their buying process is rather quick from start to finish in comparison to other dealerships. We have gotten to know some of the staff and when you walk in the door, they greet you like good friends. Although they were very busy Saturday, they made sure we were still taken care of in a timely manner. Sales Manager Michael and Salesman Vincent where great to work with this go around. We love our new Pilot! Thanks Team!

It was a really positive experience from beginning to end. The staff were kind, responsive and attentive. Malik took me on my test drive, and walked me through the different features and detailing. His partner Felipe was kind and helpful as well. James, the manager made the numbers work for my Mom, and heard out our concerns rather than dismissing or minimizing them (which is rare at a dealership). And the final piece to the puzzle was Michelle, the financier! She is generous, thoughtful and honestly hilarious! Big props to the Poway Honda Team! Very happy!

I have leased cars every three years for 12 years. I have met a lot of car salespeople! HOWEVER my sales woman ELIZABETH was WONDERFUL! She never was pushy, she took an interest in me and was SO patient with my indecision. ABSOLUTELY the best buying experience I have ever had! I sold new homes so I ever so appreciated her kindness and genuine understanding! SHE should be the TRAIN ER for all!
