I've been in San Diego for 7 years, not knowing that THIS is the place I was looking for. This shop "is that guy". The employees were friendly and attentive, the sandwich was INSANELY good, the potato salad was fire, great pickle pear, and very thorough non-alcoholic and alcoholic selection of beverages. I got my food to-go, but they have a shaded, outside patio where you can sit and eat. If I had more time, I would have done so in this beautiful weather.

The store is clean and the staff is friendly. They have a pretty decent selection including Enrique Iglesias Body Wash. It’s true people. I saw it with my own two eyes. They also have made to order sandwiches, salads and bowls which you can order online. I’ve ordered online at least three times now. Although my food took 30+ minutes to be ready the last two times. I’ve requested the owner start carrying a couple items that I routinely buy and that request was shot down. California Keg & Liquor on Garden Rd did go find the items I wanted and they always have it in stock. The Local Bottle Shop is just an average convenient store that sell decent sandwiches you have to wait way too long for. California Keg & Liquor really makes you feel like a friend, family even. Enjoy!

Good parking and good customer service. The shop has a good variety of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. If there’s something you’d like to see, then tell the clerk and they might look into getting it. The Local Bite is great. There’s only one person ever working behind the counter so have some patience after ordering.

A great all around store, spirits, numerous drinks, and the best deli in town, no joke... The best of the best. Date night? Deli sandwiches, bottle of Champaign and some treats from the counter. Boom best night ever!
