I came into Paradise Sewing looking to get my very first sewing machine and Susan and Cindy were extremely helpful and kind to show me a variety of models! They also put me in contact with the owner, Peter, who was able to offer great insight and an incredible deal on a Babylock machine. Throughout the whole process, everyone was extremely honest, knowledgeable, and kind. I am so glad I decided to get my machine at Paradise Sewing instead of online or a big box store. It was such a pleasant experience and I am extremely happy with my purchase! They have a lifelong customer in me!

I’ve worked with Peter and Paradise Sewing for the purchase of my Pfaff sewing machine and my 10-needle Baby Lock embroidery machine. Peter has a great selection of equipment, will let you play with the floor models to help decide which is the best fit, and will give you a great deal on the purchase of your dream machine(s). Lisa is outstanding in helping you with your decision, and her and her team in helping train you to get the fullest out of your machine. Paradise has classes to further hone your sewing skills while enjoying the company of others.
Paradise Sewing is a one-stop shop for all your supplies, and sewing needs, as well as servicing of your machine by Eddie to keep it running in top condition.
Peter helped me with my recent move, giving me packing material to pack up my machine safely. Even being out of state, I would call Peter if I needed anything, knowing he’d would help me if he could, and get me what I needed.
I’ll continue to recommend Paradise Sewing to friends interested in high-quality sewing and embroidery machines, at a fair price.

I heard about Paradise Sewing from a Reddit thread years back and I'm so glad I did. My wife had been sewing on the same machine for over 20 years and we finally upgraded. We purchased a Baby Lock Serger form Paradise Sewing 3 years ago and knew without a doubt we were going back when we were ready for our second machine from Peter.
I first need to say: Peter and his team CANNOT be beat. My wife and I live in Los Angeles and will forever drive to Poway to buy machines from Peter. If we ever move out of state and need another machine, we'll fly into San Diego to buy from Peter. His customer service is second to none, and once you buy a machine from him, the customer service doesn't stop.
No other sewing retailer gives the care Paradise does. I truly believe Peter loses sleep over making sure his customers are happy and will go above and beyond. Whenever we are in the store, every customer seems to treat him like family, and he does the same to them. He's the absolute best & we are customers for life!

Peter is an amazing owner and businessman. He does right by his customers. I cannot recommend him enough. The staff are all friendly. I hope to be able to come in regularly for sewing events.

Wow! this store is by far superior to any other sewing/quilt store I've ever had the privilege of experiencing and I've been sewing for 50+ years. If their great prices don't amaze you, their courtesy, integrity, and their desire to please surely will. I travel 1 1/2 hours to get here because nobody can come close to what they offer- in product or service or attitude. If you are overpaying for what you get in your sewing machine purchase or maintenance, don't even think twice. Go see Peter (30 years in sewing machine repair), or take a class with Nancy or Lisa ( their resident instructors). you'll be thanking me for writing this review you're welcome

I have bought several machines here, both for myself and for my non-profit. Peter is very fair and easy to work with. He is genuinely concerned with sending you home with a machine that is the best fit for your needs. I trust I will get a fair deal here, both for new and used machines. This is the only place I will bring my machines for service or repair.

The staff at Paradise Sewing is awesome. You are greeted warmly at the door, they have the best customer service and any problem you might encounter is immediately remedied. I have purchased a couple of machines here at amazing prices. Once you buy the machine, you are able to take classes to learn it. They are always are willing to answer a question no matter how long you have had your machine. In addition to being a personal customer, I am part of a non profit organization, Prayers & Squares. Peter gives us a good price for our machines for maintenance. We recently traded in a couple of our machines and got an excellent price for a couple of refurbished machines for our use. We thank Peter for helping us to help our community. A BIG shout out to Lisa. She is so knowledgeable and is able to explain in a way that you can understand. I bought a long arm with Pro Stitcher and let's just say, l am still asking questions. Thank you.

I brought a serger in for service and the quote was "over $500 and no guarantee, you'd better buy a new serger from us". Took the serger to Sew Pros and for $130 it's working great.

I love being here. The staff is extremely helpful and very friendly as well. Everyone who works here is incredibly knowledgeable about the machines and I highly recommend bringing your machine here for servicing as well. Service after sale is incredible here too.

Today Susan went the Extra mile with a smile to help me replace Amish quilt fabric I needed…matching colors & calculating needed fabric for 3 missing patches. Susan was professional, fast & efficient & knew store. I went into store overwhelmed & came out a very happy customer due to Susan’s fabulous customer service! Thanks a bajillion, Susan. ?????

The folks here are honest and helpful. Great place to get an older sewing machine like my Elna repaired. They don't try and sell you a new one if your current machine is fixable. They also have an excellent choice of thread. I would highly recommend this business.

The owner and staff are always very helpful. If you're looking for blender fabrics, this is the place to come. If you need a new sewing machine or repairs, this is definitely the place to come to.
