Rented a carpet cleaner for 48 hours and worked pretty well. Just make sure you clean the machine 100% or else they charge you more money than it costs to rent. We received the machine pretty dirty too so wasn't expecting them to be picky on how clean but oh well.

We had a great experience with Julia in the kitchen design department. Great advice and a competent designer. Highly recommend. Ryan in flooring was great too. Treated my wife very well when she went in by herself. Very knowledgeable

Drive the extra 10 minutes to Home Depot and spare yourself a headache. I normally stay away from this Lowe's due to below average experiences in the past. A few days ago I decided to make an exception to that rule because Lowe's was going to be able to get a toilet I wanted shipped to their store a few days quicker than Home Depot (big mistake.) I got an email today saying my toilet was ready for pick up. Hooray! I followed all the instructions through their email to check in and let them know I was on my way. I was informed my item should be ready up front when I got there. Great! That's where the fun stuff starts:I ended up taking my wife and 2 young children along with me because we were going to grab some food afterwards. I had assumed based on the email and the fact that I had already paid for the item that we would be in and out. Boy was I wrong. After waiting in the customer service line for 10 minutes I get to the cashier and was informed that my item is not in the front. It's back in receiving for some reason. Alright. No big deal. The cashier gets on her walky talkie and tries to get through to a fellow employee that was not answering. Maybe she was on her break, right? So then she calls Jorge. She informs us Jorge will be helping retrieve our toilet from receiving. It gets better.We wait patiently for another 5-7 minutes before I see Mr. Jorge. A middle aged, able bodied looking fella, meandering towards us at about the speed of an overweight tortoise. I mean he was walking so slow it looked like it took real effort. I thought to myself "oh no, this isn't the guy they would send to retrieve something far away... Right?!" Sure enough, it was.After he confirms he's grabbing a toilet for us he proceeds to walk towards the back of the store at the same mind numbingly slow pace we witnessed on his approach. 20 minutes later the very capable Jorge appears, and voila! He's got the toilet! The kids are getting anxious, the wife and I are a little annoyed, but we have the toilet! Gotta cut Jorge some slack, he might of smoked a little too much pot before work, or maybe he's just having an off day. It's important to be sympathetic to what other people might be going through.Well we got home and opened the box and it turns out Jorge had only given us half the toilet. We had the bowl, but no tank. I can forgive the long wait, lack of hustle, and poor customer service. But I cannot forgive the half of a toilet thing on top of everything else. Way to go Jorge.

Purchased a refrigerator. Was given a 4 hour window for the delivery and installation. Delivery was not made during that day due to a damaged component. Lowes knew about the problem but never called to inform me. I had to chase down the solution (called CS and also had to drive to the store) and was given no consideration. In this day and age there is no reason not to call when a delivery cannot be made for any reason. Lowes wasted 6 hours of my time and I would suggest you find another appliance dealer that has better business processes.

I wasn't too happy with Lowe's in general after this week. My fridge broke over the weekend so I went in to Santee Monday to purchase a new one. I purchased the 3100$ fridge. They said they couldn't get the fridge to me until Friday. So I'm stressing. I have no fridge. Living out of a mini fridge with two young kids. Fridge gets delivered Friday & it's damaged. Great. Called and thought they'd fix it as fast as possible. Nope. Won't have a fridge for another 4 days. Lady on the phone said the order was filled at Poway and to go there to figure it out. First, I was helped by Kristi in customer service and she was so sympathetic and helpful. She tried to change the delivery date but was unsuccessful. She called the supervisor Christian to explain the situation. Christian went to the back and really tried to come up with the best action plan he can. they've gone above and beyond to get this corrected. I just want to say thank you to these two. They deserve recognition.

Me, my mom, and her bf were at the Lowes in Poway. We were helped by the gentleman in the plumbing department. His name is Irvin (we are unsure of the spelling). He was very friendly, professional, and so helpful. We appreciate how friendly and hardworking he was in helping us find the products that we needed for our project! If I could give 0 stars I would. This was our first and last time using Lowe's for purchasing appliances. This has been an absolute nightmare trying to get an UNDAMAGED washer delivered through their third party delivery service. After waiting for over a week (and we paid for hauling of the old laundry machines so we were left without a washer) and three attempts of damaged washers and wasting my time staying home from work waiting for delivery and hours trying to get someone on the phone with customer care to resolve our situation, the dismissiveness and lack of care for our situation resulted in a refund and no further action and NO WASHER. Save yourself the headache and shop elsewhere.

Had a lot of help, bought a Perfect Refrigerator on Clearance ! Sarah Guthrie an excellent associate, was Very Helpful and could answer all our questions. We also bought concrete, brick and a New concrete mixer - Every Associate was so helpful in getting everything loaded , and down from the top rack ! The new mixer works Great ! Thank you Lowe's Team !

Dont ever buy any major appliance from Lowe's! A few years ago we purchased a refrigerator , they showed up with the truck & the hydrolic lift was broken so they couldnt get it off the truck . We eventually got it installed & the store offered us a discount for the trouble , and the fact that the fridge arrived with a visible scratch on the door . So when we decided to buy a dishwasher from them a few years later we were reasonably certain that we would be satisfied. Worst mistake ever! it took 2 months from purchase date to get the dishwasher installed because the drain hose that came with it was too short . I called & spoke with the install & customer care department on numerous occasions, each time they said I would get a callback within a specified time & usually they never called back. I was put on hold for multiple hours & bounced around to various departments. At one point a manager told me that we wouldn't be charged for install. When our credit card was charged I called customer service & the rep said it wasn't their fault that the part took so long to come in & that she would offer me a $25 gift card to Lowe's which I would have to pick up from the store , they wouldn't even mail it to me . The 2nd installer ( they use independent contractors, btw) who came & did the work told me that the original guy could have done the install& we could have gotten the plastic hose we needed from Home Depot & easily done that part ourselves . He also arrived without a necessary part , because the store didn't give him the whole kit, but luckily he had the part in his personal work truck. I will never make a major purchase from Lowe's again .

I've never bought a appliance or had one installed by lowe's its just a convenient place for me to pick up supplies for my never ending projects around the house always well stocked and clean all associates seem to be friendly and helpful

This store is the worst ever. I normally love Lowes but this one is horrible. I was sold someone's return that was put back on the shelf and now they can't take it back because it's not even the right product. $18 isn't worth fighting about when I can go to Home Depot like I should have but was trying to match a light fixture with one i already have that was a Lowes product. Nobody here is ever around to help and those who are actually knowledgeable are swamped with other employees trying to make them do their work and managers bothering them with petty crap. Save yourself time and effort and go to HD

*Reconsider Appliance Purchase Here* Please note if you are considering purchasing an appliance that is not physically in stock at their store location, it will be coming from their Third Party Warehouse - if you have any issues or require a refund, you have to deal with the Third Party (Not Lowe's). Both were horrible!We typically purchase our appliances at Home Depot but we found ourselves without a working refrigerator. The prices at Lowe's and Home Depot were comparable. But we were desperate and purchased a new fridge here because we saw that we could get next day delivery.Red flag #1: We purchased the fridge from an associate who kept stating that she did not work in the appliance department. She joked that she couldn't upsell us on anything because she had no clue. But we knew what we wanted. Again - we needed a fridge and we were promised next day delivery.Red flag #2: "They'll call you with a delivery time." We made the purchase at 9:04 AM. No one called us. When we decided to call the 800# on the receipt after 5:00 PM that same day, was when we're told our delivery time window.Red flag #3: We appreciate the early delivery. BUT the delivery team was TW0 hours before their actual delivery window and called us when they were in front of the house as I was ready to drop off my son at school and my husband was heading to work. Again, what's the point?Red flag #4: It's been years since we purchased a new fridge. No one at Lowe's provided us paperwork or informed us what we needed to prep for the delivery. We cleared the old appliance, but the delivery teamcomplained about the old water hose being too tight to turn and when my husband offered to do it himself, they kept insisting they couldn't deliver it. We were the first delivery of the day and already this demotivated team just wanted to end their day with excuses.Red flag #5: When the fridge was unwrapped, it was damaged. We understand that they couldn't unwrap the box when it was loaded into the truck - since this was coming from LA and undoing the box would damage the appliance during transport. BUT - they insisted that we accept the damaged refrigerator and then call to schedule delivery for a new one. What? We refused delivery. So they said someone would call and reschedule. Red flag #5: NO ONE CALLED. We waited all day. We called later that afternoon and were told that we had a new case number and that we would be contacted within 24 hours for a new refrigerator. Again, we were told to wait for a call. What?!? So we waited and the next day - we heard nothing! We walked back into Lowe's for a refund and were told by Customer Service that since the refrigerator came from the Third Party Warehouse and not directly from the Lowe's location, we would have to deal with the Third Party for the refund. So there we were extremely frustrated, standing at the Customer Service Department with no refrigerator and out $3500. The manager told us that there was nothing they could do since the fridge was "delivered" (which we didn't actually receive - since it was damaged) by the Third Party. He then recommended that we go to the appliance department to see what they could do to help - thanks Store Manager for managing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. "Out of our hands - blah blah blah - We can't do anything on our end..." *smh* The Appliance Associate was nice enough to call the Third Party directly and we overheard him say that they had us "scheduled" for a delivery. Wow. Again, NO ONE called us. We reiterated our request for a refund and we luckily had no more issues after this. We even called our credit card company to dispute the charge but fortunately, and were given a refund within 24 hours. We went with Home Depot the next day. Even though it took a few days to wait for our fridge, there were no red flags. Excellent in store service. They explained to us that they used Temco for deliveries. Delivery time frame was easily trackable and on-line and via text! Imagine that! Th

Don't use Lowes for measuring door installation or for installing. I'm still waiting for the correct doors and the problems they created to be resolved
