“What an unbelievable gentleman and true master in his craft. I needed to have my wife's engagement ring repaired. After 13 years, the prongs were worn down and one of the diamonds fell out. We added a larger Lab grown diamond for the center stone and repaired the ring with no issues. The end result is a gorgeous ring that has been rejuvenated to a brand new standard.All of this was done by appointment, with Matt meeting me at my office, at my convenience. The service alone is worth far more than any value you could receive elsewhere. Matt is now my Jeweler for life.”

“Wow! My ring is a stunner! Gerry couldn't have done a better job. If you are looking for quality diamonds at a great price then look no further than Gerry and Hadar Diamonds. We purchased a 3 ct cushion cut diamond from Gerry. He was able to have his partner jeweler set it in the most perfect design based of reference photos I gave him. I get so many compliments on how gorgeous my ring is. Even when I went to another jeweler to have my watch serviced, the jeweler commented on my ring. Warning, he isn't immediately responsive by text. He is better with phone calls.”

“I just went to this shop today for the first time to get batteries for 4 different watches. Was greeted by the friendliest staff. I had some rare and unique watches and they explained to me that they were able to fix all of them. They are super knowledgeable on all types of watches and were able to tell me the estimated cost for the whole job before I left the store. It only took them 1 hour to get this all done and the price for all four was super reasonable. I am so glad I found this place as I have a lot of watches and this will be my goto place from now on with any jewelry or watch repairs!!”

“My husband had found this jewelry store when he was trying to surprise me with a bracelet. Unfortunately, the bracelet was too small (not the shop's fault), when we went back to the shop there was not a single ounce of pushback or run around, they happily accepted the return with no fuss. With such a kind and easy return we decided before refunding our card we would use the funds to buy my wedding band, a half-infinity diamond band, and to resize my husband's late grandfather's gold wedding ring. The Kim Long staff was outstanding and helpful and also resized the wedding band to fit me. When we went back the rings fit perfectly, but when we got home my husband noticed that his ring which had diamonds, one of those had come loose... Without any hesitation, Kim Long took his ring back and secured his stone. There could not have been an easier jewelry store to work with and you can tell they are family-owned and care about customer service.”

When shopping for a ring, we were hesitant to go with other companies after reading customer service horror stories and other concerns about ring durability, longevity, etc. My fiance knew he wanted to go to a local jeweler but he didn't know where to go, and he happened to stumble into Dasheen Jewelry Studio. It was the first place he went on his quest to get my ring custom made, and he said he just knew he hit the jackpot and found the perfect guy for the job. My man felt understood by Dikran, was impressed by his amazing communication, and ability to work with such a short timeframe. Dikran was truly the calm in the storm and made my fiance feel so relieved through the stress/ nerves of an upcoming proposal. I could not be more obsessed with my ring!! “For those of you looking for beautiful Jewelry give them a try. A lot of it is hand made at the store. As with most places that post on Yelp you sometime get a wide range of views. My answer is go visit the place and see if their Jewelry meet your expectations. It is a family-owned business, that has been around for my 30 years plus buying from them. We have moved away from Poway, but every time were in town we make a stop at this place to view their pieces. As with most Jewelry, it's in the eye of the beholder, if you like the piece, I believe you get a fair price. Talking with the owners you get a good feeling about dealing the store. I don't normally write in yelp but have had this piece in my unfinished holder for years. I figured it was about time to send it in and get caught up. Go see it and make up your own mind about the store.”
