“First of all, I rarely write reviews unless it's for a very positive or negative experience. Luckily here, it was a very positive one. I was here with my son for a local Ice Hockey tournament at Poway Ice Center - which was very close by. I'm a Hilton Diamond member - usually that doesn't mean much especially at a Hampton Inn. But there were 2 huge benefits for me at this stay. First, they gave me an upgraded "suite" room - which helped tremendously where quite a few of the kids in our team could gather and enjoy some time together. It wasn't a separate sleeping vs living room - just 1 big space - but still quite good.Second, they gave me a 4:00pm late checkout! This helped a lot since my son could come back and take a shower after his hockey game on the last day before the late night flight. Some other positives - I really liked the room layout (my suite) - which had a separate bar sink and microwave in the room. I heard that all the normal 2-queen rooms also have the microwave too (the single king ones don't). The pool was nice and heated. And the breakfast was a decent selection.Lastly - this is something I've never seen at any other hotels - as I walked through the lobby once - I saw a bunch of hotel workers having a meeting and talking about the importance of customer service - it fit quite nicely with the overall experience I had (the upgraded room and late checkout). So appreciate that.”

“We stayed at this motel for a 3-day weekend. We were amazed at the service we received and the very friendly staff... both in the front office and housekeeping. The rooms were all maintained and we felt very comfortable. The included breakfast was fresh and well stocked. We will gladly return to this property! 5 stars!!”

“We stayed at Ramada for 2 nights. When we first got to the motel, the room was ready, and the check-in process was really quick. The service was great. The rooms were tidy and pretty clean, but you can see it’s really old, but we knew it before we came. The only problem we had there is the soundproofing of the rooms; it’s really poor, and in the morning, we could hear noise and people talking. The location is not really an issue because there is not a lot of traffic in San Diego, so you can get from place to place in less than 20 minutes. Overall, it’s a nice place to stay at a reasonable price.Rooms: Old but pretty cleanFood & drinks: Coffe and waffles in the morning.”
