I have been coming here for 20 years. This is the best place for your vehicle repairs. Great service and price! Jim is very funny and will make you laugh while you are waiting to get your vehicle finished. When Tony and Jim get together, it is like watching a live comedy show. So, you get it all when you come to Five Star! I would not go anywhere else!

Went in because my cars check engine light turned on, and my boyfriend recommended this place because of the great service he received in the past. They were booked for today but Jim offered to still take a quick look at my car to see what's going on. Turns out I had a catalytic converter issue but he said because my car was pretty new that it could be covered under warranty if I took it into the dealership. This place was honest and it's so difficult to find an honest mechanic place. I am going to only visit this place for all my car needs because of the great service and honesty. My boyfriend also received great quality service when he brought his car in

Wasted diagnosis fee and credit, which was from their overcharge.No refund even after wrong diagnosis.I ended up going to other repair shop as they gave up fixing my car after several parts replacement for 3 weeks.Finally, my car was repaired in a day from the other repair shop in Mira mesa.Do not waste your valuable time and money here!

Brought some vintage rims to have tires installed. The clerk immediately knew what I needed. Picked up the readily installed and balanced wheels a few hours later. Five stars service, courteous, friendly and very careful. I definitely feel comfortable bringing in my vintage automobiles for maintenance work. Thank you!

Jim is the MAN. He told me my battery is still under warranty and told me to change it at Costco. He is super HONEST and knowledgeable and customer centric. This is the only place I would take my car.
