The most unhelpful, rude, and lazy employees work here, with the Sunday guy being the absolute worst. If you’re fortunate enough to get someone to interact with you (a rarity), be prepared for excuses so they don’t have to do anything. If, god forbid, they are forced to help you (an additional rarity), you will be treated with a nasty attitude for making them do their job.
This store must intentionally hire unhelpful, unhappy, and miserable people because it’s been this way for years, and unbelievably it is worse every time I make the mistake of going there.

I'm a contractor. I had switched to this brand about a year ago, no regrets. Also a caulk doesn't have a bauble in the middle of a tube, so it doesn't leak like Dap products.People in the store are very nice too. 5 stars all the way.

I've been using the Dunn-Edwards Poway store for about 8 years. Throughout this period the customer service ranged from excellent, when they used a color consultant, to poor, when they are understaffed with grumpy people (probably a correlation). With my last two experiences, I've decided that I probably won't use this store again. My seven year house paint professionally applied with Dunn-Edwards Evershield has faded significantly. So much so that I must have a custom color to match. Yesterday, the professionals at the Poway store took an hour to match an off-white color. Today, they were unable to mix a different color because they had run out of the color base. How does a paint store run out of paint in the middle of the week? When I got the paint at the Miramar store, I found that the Poway store had been overcharging me $10 a gallon for Evershield. I have too many options to continue with the Poway Dunn-Edwards.

We came to look for paint for our beautiful new house, paint for our Formal living room, formal dining room, family room, Kitchen & Master bedroom. Our painter recommend us to go there for paint & we walked in the lady greeted us, we were there for 15 mins & 5 mins before closing, she turned off the lights on us & were almost done picking the last of colors & we couldn't see the colors chart. That was very RUDE of her so we are taking our business elsewhere.

This place is average, at best. The goods: they're located in a strip mall, and parking was not a problem. I was there on a Tuesday afternoon, and it wasn't too crowded and they had adequate staffing. The shelves seemed to be plenty stocked, and their prices were competitive. The average: the customer service from the two ladies working was barely pleasant. I'm not sure if they don't like their jobs, or if they needed a smoke break or what. I'm not a contractor, so maybe I was hoping for a little bit of service and patience as they answered my questions. Anyway, hopefully you'll catch the employees in a better mood when you visit.

The customer service in this store is the worst. I being there couple of times and they not even say hello or good morning. They looks too cold people.

I came here to match existing paint and they did the job. They were speedy and the paint seems like it's good quality. They have a really nice selection of off whites that I couldn't beat at other paint stores.

I have been working with Andreza, this particular store's Professional Color Advisor. I cannot say enough about her level of expertise and service, she is a HUGE asset to this store. She as well as this store was referred to us by our painting contractor, what a find! We were really not sure of which way to go with the repainting of the interior of our home and she was so incredibly helpful. She took her time with us and guided us through all of the selections. Her eye for color and design was so helpful!!

Great paint. High quality- recommended to me by designers and crews. Do not expect a consumer oriented retail store. Go to Home Depot if you need personal service. They do their best here but they aren't there to hold your hand or baby you. Although their staff did offer to carry my paint out to my car for me! Haha! They cracked me up because they thought I had an arm injury- but I was just wearing arm sleeves for painting coverage, lol! The prices are commensurate with the quality so expect to pay more. They often have coupons on yelp or online so be smart and check before you go. I'm happy with how my home office turned out in Cool December. Maybe the heat wave had something to do with my color choice?

Would not allow us to recycle paint here. They turned us away after we were turned away at another dunn-edwards location. No social responsibility here

If I can give 0 stars I would. Horrible Service , was there for 50 minutes to buy three buckets of paint. Only for one of the workers to go to our car and tell us that shes gonna start making it because the ones who were supposed to didnt. We were going to cancel but we needed the paint , it took her only 10 minutes to do it. She then came outside to take it to our car , mind you she was PREGNANT and her coworkers who are guys just watched her struggle, they were complete assholes and not gentlemen which is ugly of them. Would not recommend coming here.
