What I like about this place is that they give you cash. But they take it from your bank account and I don't like that. It is also frustrating that they take money from your account. But this place is still good and the atm machine works good.

Had a horrible experience at Chase in Poway. Having just recently moved to the US, I went to chase to open a bank account. I had my Greencard, my passport, my SSN and proof of address. My husband also added me to his chase freedom unlimited credit card so I brought that too. The guy at the teller desk was so unfriendly and just couldn't be bothered to help! He kept telling me I didn't have enough information to open an account which was simply untrue. He didn't try to help or get anyone else to help. I left and went straight to Bank of America where they opened my account in ten minutes. You lost a potential customer due to incompetence and laziness. Sad.

The guy refused to open an account because he didn't understand how green cards work. I went to Bank of America and they opened the account in two minutes. I am shocked that the banks lacking deposits and getting accused of discrimination of immigrants are continuing with their untrained discriminatory employees

I went in with a torn 100$ bill that was only missing less than a quarter of it, and was told they could not replace it with a new bill. I knew this wasn't true because Ive replaced bills that were more torn than this one. The manager declined giving me a new one, and so I called a different chase when I left and they told me as long as you could see the serial number and at least 75% of the bill was left they could exchange it, and so I went into this other location and sure enough they gave me one with no issue!

Michelle at Chase bank on Poway Road went above and beyond. I had deposited checks that were not signed by my company and was charged $12 fee for each one. Ridiculous! Then when I went into the branch she told me that Chase had taken away their ability to take away fees but they had a number she could call to see if they would reverse and Chase denied of course even though this had never happened before. So the manager was not in to escalate so she said she would leave it for him. Once I left I later received a phone call that she had reached out to another branch manager to get it resolved and they did. SHE is the reason I did not pull my personal and business accounts right then and there!!! Eli from this branch also set up my business accounts and was truly amazing and so incredibly helpful the whole way. Bye Wells Fargo. BUT I CAUTION CHASE BECAUSE THEIR HEADQUARTERS/CLIENT SERVICE PHONE CENTER WHATEVER COUNTRY IT MAY BE IN IS ABSOLUTELY AND CONSISTENTLY THE MOST HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE EVERY TIME!!! Take a suggestion and put all the power back at the branches if you want to keep your clients because they are the only ones who can speak English and know what they are doing! I even watched how horrible your internal service number for your branches to call in to HQ to help the client was. So you are horrible helping your own branches! BUT THANK YOU MICHELLE AND ELI. You both went above and beyond and continue to do so!

Terrible customer service, waited 45 minutes, Justin the VP Branch has a bad attitude should be replace immediately by a kiosks. Claims he has the discretion to choose if he should notarize my documents as a business account holder and personal military account. USAA and Navy federal will happily take my account but they don't do commercial. Bad attitude and gives Chase a bad name, many people are willing and more qualified to fill you small shoes and big head.

I just stepped out from a bank with the worst service, especially from a bank teller. First off he has no name tag but based on my receipt his name is Justin. Secondly he is not competent in math or making simple calculations even with his calculator. When I asked to double check the total amount of my 4 checks, he sounded inpatient and frustrated. Then he asked me to step aside after I took a minute to calculate, so he could help the next customer. Guess what?? It turned out that his calculation was wrong and couple hundreds less than the total amount! I'm glad I double checked! He looked like he is having a bad day or in need of a break badly. He acted very jittery, and walked away from the counter twice when helping me. I mean, is he OK? I usually don't use this branch but I had to come here today because it's close to my kid's school. My usual place is in Carmel Mountain and the people there are totally amazing. I have 7 accounts with them (personal and business) and this guy gave me the rudest ,weirdest and abnormal bank experience I have never had. I am talking about 5 minutes interaction here and I couldn't wait to get out of here. I would rather go somewhere further.

Just the worst. Tried to open a couple simple accounts here- going on week three and money has still not transferred in. Communication is terrible, they keep telling me they are "working on it". Stay away, there are plenty of other banks and branches around.

I had Chase Bank way back when it was Washington mutual. I signed my son up on his first bank account with your bank in Poway California. My son join the United States Marine corps right after high school. He had $1,500 in his joint self bank account with mine and his and he withdrew it... Except for $23. Burbank was kind enough to credit back the $13 service fee. BUT... I went into the bank today to try to convert it to a military status and since I'm on his bank account as a mother... El cajon Banks Diego my helper the military or times and got hung up 4 times... On the fifth attempt I mean waiting... He got through to somebody and they told him that my son needed to come in and provide proof that he was in the military!!!! My son is overseas! And if he comes home for Christmas or sometime next year that's the last thing on earth he wants to do is take care of something at Chase Bank!!!! I should Diego my son's Facebook page and there's everything on that page about him being a United States Marine!!!!.... You will not convert it over Chase Bank and I totally disappointed and your bank and I'm going to take my business elsewhere if this doesn't get fixed. I walked out closing that bank account but I would like it reopened just in case something happens overseas that I can give him money and or vice versa it was our only dual connection to each other when it came to money.....

Make that money! Don't chase that money... Drive thru ATM in the shade for the win! Closed on Sunday so it's less crowded to drop by here than on weekdays - especially pay days. Parking is a bit difficult at this location as it shares with a couple businesses. The main entrance faces the main road too which doesn't feel too safe. When you need money, know where to go. Poway! Less crowded, less hassle.

Chase usually has decent customer service, but when I stopped by this branch it had black cloud over it. Walked in the door and saw two tellers behind the glass. One gave me a disinterested stare. The other said a sorrowful hello. I seriously thought it was a joke. After my transaction , I needed assistance with an additional item. My very friendly hubby remarked on flowers in one woman's area and she had another disinterested response. Maybe we caught them in a bad day. I hope whatever has them so gloomy is remedied quickly.
