“Was working with the VA getting the vehicle allowance and vehicle adaptations approved. I tried to do a lot of research on this and asked the VA a lot of questions. In the end, everyone was kind and helped the best they could, but I ended up with more questions than answers. Finally went to GoldenBoy to check things out and ask questions and try to get information since the vehicle allowance was approved. As soon as I went there, Sean and Keith educated me on the process and benefits the VA would provide, which were actually life changing and substantial. So, I started working with them and within a couple of months of our first discussion, I drove away in a brand new fully modified vehicle. In the end, the cost of the modified vehicle to me was about 20% of the final price of vehicle + modifications. My recommendation, if you decide to try and get the VA vehicle allowance, talk to them first and save yourself a lot of trouble and time spent figuring things out. It took me about 8 months from start of vehicle allowance application to finally driving away in a vehicle. If you talk to GoldenBoy in the beginning, you may can probably compress this some.”

“I usually rent from the Mira Mesa location where Nick is the manager working along side Alex. They know me by name and always provide the best customer service! Today, I ended up renting at the Poway location. Turned out that Nick (Manager) was working today! YAY! The other employee (also named Nick LOL) helped me and was very friendly and helpful! I HIGHLY recommend either the Mira Mesa or Poway locations when you need to rent a car!”
