This is along time coming. I just wanted to give a shout-out to Steve and his team. I have 2 cars that he has been working on in the past years. One is my Toyota truck. My oil sensor went bad when I was getting my oil changed. He was right on it and got a new part and fixed within an hour! I also have a scion TC that ended up having problem after problem. Steve stuck with it and was able to get all the issues fixed for me and it runs like new! Shout out to Steve saying huge thank you very much for putting up with me n my cars! :))

My main mechanic sold his shop over 4 years ago and I've been looking for him ever since. I fortunately found him at BNC Mobile Auto Repair. I'm absolutely thrilled because he is the best around. I'm just waiting for an estimate for a couple of repairs Steve, the owner, will give me on Monday and then Kevin, my favorite mechanic, will start work on them. You can never go wrong with Kevin. He never cheats you and always knows what he is doing. Steve and Kevin make a great team.

I would not only recommend Steve as a trusted auto mechanic, but highly recommend him as an upstanding citizen who cares about his customers.
Our mother-in-law got caught up in a mess with Fix Auto Poway that not only underhandedly literally took the front-end of her car apart, after a small fender-bender that was proven in their own paperwork that there was little to no damage, except a few miner scratches that occurred, but yet gave 3 estimates to the insurance company rendering her car totaled and salvage.
Weeks of phone calls to try and get her car back from this mess, led to months of aggravation, persistence, tears, and herself, at age 88 years old, and her family to notify anyone and everyone to help save her car from the thieves that refused to put it back together for her, leaving us to tow the car and all the pieces to BNC auto, with the willingness of Steve to save her from the horrific circumstances that Fix Auto Poway put her and her car in.
From the over $7000 estimate Fix Auto Poway had given to the insurance, that included a new spare tire that had not been touched and still attached in the trunk of her car, from the front end fender bender. Steve, having to replace parts lost by Fix Auto Poway, still came in less than half of Fix Auto Poway's estimate and covered all the expenses, giving back my mother-in-laws car, without having to list it as salvage, in almost pristine condition.
Thank you BNC Mobile Auto Repair! You saved my mother-in-laws beloved car, her peace of mind, and left us all knowing that there are still lovely people who really care about people.

This shop was highly recommended to me, so I had my vehicle towed here when it overheated. I was called quickly and told that the water pump was bad which would cost $2700. I confirmed with another shop that this is the book rate.But given my vehicle’s water pump is on the back of the engine which is on the driver side because it is a front wheel drive vehicle and there was no leak coming from there it rather than the front of the vehicle near the radiator, I didn’t quite believe this assessment.I had it towed to another shop in El Cajon. Later that afternoon, I was called and informed that my AC condenser had a leak which had caused my condenser and radiator to be clogged with grime. This new shop replaced my AC condenser and my thermostat for $1000, and the car has been fine since.I’m not sure who did the assessment on my vehicle at BNC, but it appears that it was hastily done, and for as much as they could get away with. Luckily, I did not just immediately accept.Not sure, I’d be able to trust the shop in the future.

Steve @ BNC was a recommendation and I am completely satisfied with his company. I was in a jam with my 2017 Ram diesel and Steve and his crew took care of me promptly. Steve is a Man of Integrity and worked hard to save me money on all repairs. Not often you find a honest Mechanic these days . Steve is an awesome guy and business owner. He called me several times through the process as he was fixing my car to make sure I was not sticker shock at the end. Talked through the car issues with me and made sure I understood what he was going to do and the cost. Great customer service, honest and reliable! It also doesn't hurt that he has the cutest pups at the shop to great his customers.

They always are honest with us so we use their service. Often when we go to other places like tire shops where the tire shop tells us we noticed you need need $800 in repair while installing your tires we have gone here and they have told us it is BS. Plus the rates are lower too.Over the years we have used them for radiator repair, air conditioning repair, rat (eaten) wiring damage, transmission replacement and general repair, and have been satisfied every time. And every time have been given a fair price for the service.

Old school repair shop. If you're tired of the pretentious and horribly expensive dealership...this is for you. Its hard to find someone who knows older Mercedes or European. Honest and straightforward. Not fancy and sparkling clean. Just a great repair shop.

Steve has been my go to mechanic for the last 20 years. He has kept all of my vehicles and my family's vehicles in tip top condition for all these years! Highly recommended and they are capable of working on all cars!Services: Auto A/C recharge

I drive a 2003 Ford f150 with 335,000 mi on it I had a guy in San Marcos that I did not know replace the engine and he did the worst job of any auto mechanic probably in the universe the company that I work for currently uses Steve to do all of their Auto repair taking it to him now a couple times for a few different things and I am really pleased with the work he does not the cheapest place in town but probably close to the best good guy good mechanics that work there and pretty fast too I highly recommend this place
