As a Realtor, I often recommend businesses to my clients. I would recommend that you AVOID Antech Appliances at all costs.
I filed for a repair claim through American Home Shield and was unfortunately assigned this poor excuse of a business.
They gave a 5 hour window, which meant someone in my family had to be at home throughout this window- Antech decided to simply not show up or update us, despite a text the day before confirming the appointment.
I unfortunately have to give to give at least one star for this review to post, but please know that 1 star is still way too high for them

On July 13th, I submitted a repair request through American Home Shield because my refrigerator stopped cooling. Two weeks later, the repair person showed up and spent one minute determining that my compressor required replacement. Two weeks from that date, Antech still hadn’t called me to provide an update on the repair, so I started calling. I took the initiative and called them every day to get a status and every day for four days, they told me “the part is scheduled to arrive at the end of the day.” Every day, I had to call them because they refused to keep me informed of the delay. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau due to their lack of communication and lackadaisical approach to fixing my refrigerator. One week after filing the complaint, I finally got a repair person to my home on 19 August (5 weeks after submitting the original repair request through my insurance provider). The automated system kept me informed of this, as yet again, Antech refuses to reach out to the customer to inform them of anything. I had my garage door open and was working in my garage, when the repair person pulled up. He was in a personal vehicle, not wearing anything indicating he worked for Antech. He walked into my garage and immediately start messing with the refrigerator and starting the repair. He didn’t introduce himself, he didn’t tell me who he worked for or why he was there. He replaced the compressor, moved the refrigerator back where he found it, and nodded as he walked to his car. Minutes later, he left. No invoice, no discussion on the repair or steps to prevent recurrence, nothing. This company is unprofessional and should not be contracted for repair work. I reserve one star reviews for complete dissatisfaction with no resolution. I am rating Antech two stars because they did eventually get my refrigerator back up and running.

I recently had a very disappointing experience with Antech Appliances. They sent a technician to repair our refrigerator, which was consistently warm and not maintaining the set temperature of 38 degrees. The technician suggested replacing the evaporator fan and another component. However, after spending some additional time troubleshooting, he left without fully resolving the issue.
In the following days, the refrigerator's temperature dropped drastically, going as low as 22 degrees, despite the settings being correctly set to 0 for the freezer and 38 for the fridge. This overcooling caused significant damage to our kitchen, and the refrigerator is now non-functional.
This entire situation has caused considerable inconvenience, all stemming from the service provided by Antech Appliances. I expect this situation to be addressed promptly, as it has left us with a non-functional fridge and a damaged kitchen.
I would not recommend Antech Appliances based on this experience.

My refrigerator has a broken spring. The Antech rep asked me to sign a waiver of responsibility. I asked what it's meant to cover. He said everything. So I didn't sign, he left without a word, and today I find that the claim has been closed. He could have told me at the time, but he didn't say anything. Just left me thinking he would order the part. He was rude from the moment he came in, so I guess I am not that surprised. What business model has customers relieve them from any and all liability?
I see Steve's reply below. The woman who told me on the phone when I called that the claim is closed was very dismissive. When I told her I would describe this in a review, she just said, "OK". Your rep didn't even bother to tell me he was closing the case without any further action, or attempt to explain the waiver. I had a rep dent the front panel of my dishwasher once, so the last thing I would do is sign a blanket waiver.

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!! As many other reviews have said, this company gets assigned by AHS Home Warranty to come out and take a look. A rude technician shows up and snaps a couple pictures of my broken oven, and then says they'll send a report. The next day, I get an email from AHS saying my claim has been closed out and completed. I called Antech to try to resolve it and they tell me that it is "not normal wear and tear", and that they couldn't do anything about it. (My oven heating coil had burned out, and so my oven stopped heating up). HEED THE OTHER REVIEWS (as we should have) AND DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!!

The most rude and unprofessional people I have ever worked with. I took 3 minutes to open the door because I have 4 kids and I didn’t hear the knocking and the man yelled at me as he walked in. They didn’t even fix the fridge and wasn't helpful at all. DO NOT WORK WITH THESE PEOPLE.

I had home warranty with American home shield and Antech Appliances is the assigned to fix my broken dishwasher. They spent one and half months and been here 4 times and still didn’t fixed it. I have to contact American home shield to change another vendor. I cancelled my home warranty because of this bad experience.
I saw Antech Appliances manager replied every review here. If you do have this much time, pls improve your service quality and don’t torture your customers. Thank you !

Our home warranty assigned Antech Appliance to fix our dryer. They served our dryer four time (4x) in a span of 3 months. They fixed the problem permanently by replacing the control board ( is that what it's called?) I wonder why they did not do the replacement in the first place. A 4th service visit could have been prevented, the inconveniences could have been prevented, the service fee was $400 total, ($100 per visit) and could have been prevented. I am unsure if the tech guy was incompetent or they wanted to get paid $400

Antech Appliance tech (Paul) arrived in the afternoon on 5/30/24 to fix my clothes dryer that was not working. Paul was polite and showed exceptional customer service. The clothes dryer was fixed and now is working. Thank you Antech Appliance for the sending over Paul.......?

This is our second experience with Antech. Neither experience has been positive. Unfortunately, Antech was assigned by our home warranty company and we didn't have a choice to select a different vendor. The first time they came out, the repair man was rude and talked down to me. What made the situation worse is that he wasn't able to determine the problem with our washing machine; so, $85 wasted. The second time Antech was assigned to us was for an issue with our refrigerator. The service window for someone to come out was from noon to 6pm. At 5:21pm the technician called and said he wouldn't be able to come today. With it being Friday, that means we'll have to wait until Monday for the office to call us to reschedule. Very frustrating. I understand things happen, but with the hundreds of poor reviews--and now two of our own--it's not looking promising. Instead, I called my home warranty and asked for a different company. Thankfully, they switched us to a different vendor. Hoping we won't have to deal with Antech again!

Negative 5 should be an option. HORRIBLE HORRENDOUS from A to Z! AHS Home Warranty made me use them. Refrigerator NOT fixed. I opted to purchase my own new Refrigerator to avoid Antech abusing me further! Shame on Antech AND American Home Shield (AHS) for continuing to use Antech!

The technician wasn't friendly, and did not offer his name. he was out to look at my refrigerator for a cooling issue. To his credit, he identified the fact that the coils were frosted over and replaced the necessary part to keep that from happening in the future. I asked him if he was going to defrost the ice from the coils, and he said no you can empty your refrigerator and freezer And it will take a day or two for the ice to thaw. I told him I had this situation a few years ago and the GE technician had a small heater and he defrosted everything and completed the job before he left. He would not defrost the coils to my dismay. After he left, I took everything apart myself, and with a hairdryer I had the coils defrosted in about 30 minutes.. So in my estimation, he was too lazy to take an extra 30 minutes to complete the job the way it should have been completed. Very disappointing!

Based on these other reviews, i expected the technician to insult my family or kick my dog. He was on time, courteous, and diagnosed a broken dishwasher and freezer ice machine quickly. He came back 3 days later and both were fixed. Would absolutely use my home warranty again and have them come out to fix whatever.

If I could I would give ZERO stars. Just like other customers have reported, the technician from Antech (sent by AHS) was VERY unprofessional and barely looked at the fridge. We have an ice maker problem on our Samsung. He did not even pull out the ice maker compartment to take a look, but lied to me in my face that he did, even though I was standing right there and have removed the ice maker a hundred times. In 5 seconds he asked me to sign a form "replace ice maker". He did not introduce himself. He did not have a card. I do not know his name. He was VERY rude and visibly did not want to be there. AHS gave me the run around. I think we will be changing our home warrantee, what a scam
