This company is horrible. We cancelled our service with them months ago because of poor service and just hours ago I was harrassed on MY OWN PROPERTY by an employee claiming they own the propane tank to my home. He spoke to me as if I was lying that the tank was owned by the property owner who we rent from. Incredibly rude and disrespectful.
I will never pay this company another penny and will go out of my way to convince people not to give them business. Shockingly horrible company.

I have contacted your support number a couple times recently, both times an interpreter might have helped me to understand what was being said to me. Is there not a phone number to call locally when i have a local problem ?On my Amerigas invoice dated 7-12-23 it was noted that i had a stuck fuel gauge on my tank, which I rent from Amerigas,I also pay for line guard insurance. I think the hard to understand support person on the phone on 8-15-23 wanted me to pay$90.00 to have it fixed. Nobody from Amerigas has contacted me about the stuck fuel gauge or had it fixed.Not very good support at all dealing with Amerigas...

we have been customers since 1980, we also had AmeriGas install a tank, gas line and meter to our new home we built in 1996. We never had any problems until NOW ! By CALIFORNIA LAW we are required to "call before you dig"'when we were unable to reach anyone regarding the gas line, I called AmeriGas customer service and made an appointment for someone to come out AUGUST 9, 2023. An AmeriGas employee came from a location 130 miles from where we live which was ridiculous ! He was UNABLE to locate the gas line, saying his equipment only found metal lines not plastic, which is what all gas lines are since we had them install ours....there should have been a tracer wire, there was NONE, there was supposed to be a yellow warning tape above the line, there was NONE. When digging the trench for fiberoptic installation, my husband snagged the gas line and put a small tear in it. An AmeriGas driver happened to be next door, so he came over and made sure the tank was off and plugged, after many calls to the EMERGANCY line, we were told over and over there was no one around to fix it...the driver saw the repair request and he got in touch with the repair dispatch, he told them it was a very small repair, he could take care of it in a few minutes. he came the next day, fixed it in 5 minutes, said it would only cost $190.not only did we get a bill for $249.70 for the man to find the line, and NOT FIND IT, but we also got a bill for $654.24 for the repair !!! We refuse to pay AmeriGas $903.94 and will instead use that amount for our lawyer !

You are the worst company to work with. Customer service is 100% overseas. You don't deliver gas and you leave your tanks on customer property for months, if not years, after service has been discontinued.

I have told you before and I got no response, I will tell you again, 3 times you let me run out of gas, Your accounting department has never upgraded my CC and continues to send me late notices and penalty fees. I expect the next time I get a delivery, I will again get a notice of my CC will not be upgraded and will spend another hour on the phone to get someone w/ authority that will make things right. You guys are terrible, but the prices are the best so far !!!!

dealt with, switch company's because charged double their truck broke down and ran out of propane, won't pick up tank been in back yard over two months I have called and called, still won't pick it up

Propane is supposed to be refilled when needed without our intervention. It wasn’t, which is a major issue this time of year in this climate. Please remove this option from your service offerings if you are not able to fulfill it at this time. I would have happily been checking the tank and then scheduled a refill if I’d known to do so.Submitting a refill order was a nightmare but I don’t think that’s the branch’s fault. The phone number listed redirects to a general call center and the customer support did not seem capable of correctly submitting the work order. After 3 dubious phone calls made between 9am-4pm, my husband tried the chat feature on their website and I think that did the trick.The local technician was awesome. After having an emergency fill ticket submitted successfully at 4pm by the chat representative, a local technician arrived a little before 6pm and was able to fill the tank. He was also willing & able to get our water and heater pilot lights going. I’d give this corporation a 1-star rating if I could, but the local branch is alright

Your crew showed up unannounced at 7 am to inspect my tank. I had mentioned in several communications that I needed to be called first because the tank is in the back yard, the gate is locked, and I have dogs that have to be put up.With all that aside 7 am is way outside normal business hours
