Ladera Country Shopper is Portola Valley's secret that I don't mind sharing. Community oriented and difficult to get into due to its popularity and limited parking, I'm always drawn to its local vibe as a reflection of the region's rural past....not necessarily its competitive present. Its ruralness is certainly arguable, but 280 acts as a gateway between country and city. I'll head west every time.

Small local shopping center with some good restaurants, boutique grocery, good coffee shop, well-priced nail and hair salon, UPS store and a fantastic nursery. Good place to stop as it’s right off 280.

Wide selection of plants and flowers; buyers do a beautiful job selecting unique gifts for the shop. Owners and staff provide excellent service.

Extraordinary service. Mercedes, Juan and their team are the best. If you want beautiful orchid arrangements this is the best choice in the Bay Area. They also have fresh flowers, plants and wonderful seasonal gifts. A treasure trove.

This was a really nice nursery! I swung by before going to Stanford shopping center (it's about a 10 minute drive). I was very surprised by the variety of plants and pots and gifts they have here. The aisles are quite narrow so it's quite difficult to push a cart through, but they have a really nice selection of plants at really great prices. We ended up purchasing some PINK baby breath flowers that I have never seen elsewhere in the area. Will definitely be back!

I love going there! I never come away empty handed. Juan, if possible will order special for you if he doesn't have what you want. Great selection of plants, pots trees, and gifts. One of my favorite places. D. Polash

Nice little quaint strip mall in Portola Valley. There's a garden shop, grocery, Lobster shack, sushi and Mexican resto, Cafe, etc. You can have a break here after cycling around the smooth country roads of Portola Valley.

This is a fantastic shopping center with an amazing grocery, gorgeous garden and gift shop and delish restaurants.

We went to the lobster shack. Food was great .They shut down the restaurant at Woodside plasa.This was only a 10 minutes drive from Redwood city.

Went twice there on Saturday and Sunday between 12 and 4 PM when it says they should be open but they were closed both days. Yelp and Google hours are not reflective of when the place will be open.
