I've been shopping at this market for years now. It's my closest local market that is fully stocked. I have no idea how much money I have spent here but it is a lot. Their prices are high. Today I was assaulted by a truck driver, who was illegally parked in the road. The manager refused to do anything about it. He said he has no control over what people do that are delivering to his grocery store. Actually, he does. He can tell them they need to park somewhere safe or they can't deliver. When I went to talk to the driver, he shoved me hard. The manager not having seen that part sided with the driver. He was laughing with the driver and another employee. Boy, do I feel unwelcome here. And not safe. To add insult to injury, the responding sheriff decided to threaten me with false imprisonment if I didn't let it go. No false imprisonment occurred. The sheriff simply doesn't know the law.

I LOVE Bianchini’s Market. I know many people are likely turned away by the prices, but if you know what you are looking at, you understand why it costs what it does. This is one of the only markets within a 30 minute drive that carries Alexandre dairy, Rodolphe Le Meunier butter, and kishu oranges, just to name a few things. If you know, then you know.

I thought I'd try their Vegetable Lasagne. I checked the label for ingredients and it said "Ingredients: Lasagna noodles, Zucchini, Cheese & Tomatoe Sauce". After baking, I cut a slice and did I find Zucchini? or even tomatoe sauce? No, the only ingredient in this lasagne was mushrooms, stuffed to the brim and I didn't even find any zucchini but some green veggie that may have been spinach. Cost: $15.99...down the drain. Perhaps it was mis-labeled? Who knows, but it was a big disappointment. So, unless you're up for food surprises, I would veer away from their lasagne unless of course you're a lover of a good mushroom lasagna! :)

This was one of the best sandwiches I've had with rotisserie chicken in it. So delicious and was decent size so I had leftovers for the next day. I also love their pumpkins out front and (side note) they have every single flavor of Olipop I've ever seen. Didn't even know some of those flavors existed! I'll have to come back before I leave.

Rude checkout person put me in my place (twice) when I thought the customer ahead was done. Excused herself saying "Don't worry, I treat everyone in hurry that way." Plus, collecting mobile numbers from everyone is intrusive.

This review is for the meat/fish counter. The behind the counter service is quite unpleasant. After being a customer for the past 20 years, it is now common to get a behind the counter guy who is uninterested in helping the customer. Today I was begrudgingly handed a shredded handful of smoked salmon. At $35 a pound one would assume care would be taken. Nope. He ripped it up till the desired weight was reached, threw it in a plastic bag and wrapped it in paper like a 10 year old would. This counter guy showed no pride in Bianchini's. His put upon attitude is not uncommon at Bianchini's these days. What a shame. I wish this were not the case but it is. I will get my meat and fish at Draegers from now on.

Highway robbery. So we buy a fresh squeezed orange juice and need a way to drink it while on the road. Coffee cup seemed logical. We had three and let them know. 50 cents each says the bearded wonder. $10 a quart for the OJ and a buck and a half for three cups. This place is a joke. Way over priced.

A fun grocery store. I wish I was wealthy enough to just get my protein from the meat counter. Super high quality stuff.

I know Bianchini's by reputation, but this week was my first personal experience with this wonderful market, so I want to share and encourage others to support them! We had signed up to provide an after-game meal for one of the baseball teams yesterday evening, but it had been raining off and on for the past couple of days, so there was uncertainty over whether the game would get rained out (even after the game had already started). Because of the situation, I didn't want to commit to purchasing a large meal, but on the flip side, some advance notice was necessary to be ready. Also, I wanted a hot meal alternative to pizza that would be easy to serve and reasonably priced. I first spoke to Laurie and she offered to have the chefs prepare a lasagna and veggie pasta the day before and then they would be on stand by to bake them, so if the game was canceled, they could still sell the items. On game day, Raul (sp?) was extremely friendly and flexible and essentially gave me until the last minute to make the call, which ended up being a go. I'm so appreciative of their customer service and accommodation and will continue to shop there whenever I have the opportunity! BTW, the food was also amazing and we received tons of compliments, so thank you!!
