This review is for Romero’s Auto Repair 1018 W Teapot Dome Ave, Porterville, CA 93257I had an emergency and my vehicle was not operable. Romero took care of me and I was back up and running end of day. The part could not be found and he used his ingenuity to get it fixed. He went above and beyond for me. If I were local, he would be my regular mechanic. Thank you, Romero’s!

Took care of my problem, reasonable and honest. I'll be back when I need him. They fixed the problem with no additional charges. What a concept, an honest mechanic. He was knowledgeable and diagnosed the correct problem on the car. Now I have a car that runs great and a mechanic I can trust. A win win.

Jesse worked on my car right away but he didn't diagnose the problem correctly. He worked on the transmission all day and said he fixed it by replacing the drain plug, flushing the system, replacing the transmission fluid, and adding non-slip additive. He charged me $400 for his work. Then he proceeded to tell me to lie to the dealership if I needed to take it them to be repaired correctly. Needless to say, it wasn't repaired and I was out $400. I'm giving two stars, instead of one, because he got to work on my car right away and got it back to me quickly.

Bad experience here. Says he is under staffed but still will take your money.

Jesse is a hard working, well rounded mechanic that will get the job done. He came in on a Sunday to help my friend out in her RV. Got the alternator changed out and got us on our way. A really solid mechanic and a good person!
