I wish i could leave negative stars for this shop I had the worst experience the customer service was awful the guy that helped me was extremely rude and unhelpful I was also lied to I went to a different smog shop in clovis and passed immediately either this shop doesn't know what they are doing, don't want to work or Want to bamboozle people out of their hard earned money don't go here they do not care abo
ut you or your vehicle and they will make it known I've had better customer service

I have taken my vehicles, excluding my hybrid to this business since moving back to Porterville almost 20 years ago. I have no knowledge of anything other than this has been the most honest, courteous, outgoing gentleman. He doesn’t have the fancy frills or the bells and whistles…
But he does have a conscience and treats his his customers well as far as I have witnessed all these years. It would be wonderful if more give a little kindness and patience and put your greed and selflessness away.

Was waiting for my smog and the owner backed into my truck and had the audacity to tell me it was my fault and proceeded to walk away from the situation not even caring the damage he did to the other customers car!!!

I only take our cars here for smog. He is very honest and professional. His grand daughter works in the office and she is very friendly.

Do not get your car smogged here. Got my car failed here and when asked about a resmog the owner went off on me. But per Cali law you have 90 days for a resmog if you fail. And also have notified better business bureauServices: Smog certification

Warning to others! Do not go here! I went in for a smog and he was not only unprofessional but he made it uncomfortable. He checked my tires for a smog among other odd things. Save your money and your time !Service: Smog certification

I just moved to Porterville and needed a smog check. I went here to Bale’s Smog Inspection and was helped by Tom Bales and the young lady behind the counter. What a pleasant experience. They were both very helpful and got me well taken care of. I highly recommend them.Services: Emissions testing
