I am taking my daughter to this place for a blowout tomorrow. And after seeing all the bad reviews I am wondering if I should take her! Is this place bad?

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Zero stars for sure.
I went to buy $300 worth of gift cards... and one small moisturizer cream. Cashier asks for my phone number. I told her I do not want to give it because I will be receiving lots of junk messages and marketing stuff. She rudely tells me, you need one. I replied, why do I need one to shop. She then acting annoyed grabbed my cream and said, this will be final sale since you don't want to give a phone number. I said fine! I need the cream and use the clineque brand all the time. As I'm leaving, I remembered I needed a couple other items. I grabbed my items and before I headed back to the cashier, I asked another employee on the floor. She told me that as long as I have my receipt I do not need to sign up for anything. I then proceeded to go pay and same thing, the cashier tells me that all my items would be final sale since I don’t want to give my number. I was then upset and requested to see the manager. Manager tells me that I will need a number if I like to return any items, which will sign me up for their reward system and promotions. I need to be signed up in order to return any item. This is an absurd system. IF I have my receipt, the credit card is in my name, or if I paid cash, why would I need to sign up to their promotional program. This is an illegal approach to force customers to give their information. You cannot make a sale final simply because the client doesn't have or refuses to give a phone number. They abuse the use of the information they collect by sending me promotions at all ours of the day and night I do not need.
Their system is illegal and their customer service is absolutely horrendous. They need to train employees better and review their guidelines. I see an class action lawsuit on it's way.
Based on all the responses from the company, nothing will be done. They have either a machine or one person responding with prewritten messages that read the same for every respond. They just simply trying to show that their was a response. Meaningless response. All responses read pretty much the same.

The worse hair I have ever gotten my stylist was Gisselle l got there right on time for my appointment after waiting for 30 minutes of waiting l finally got to the chair but didn’t get started right away l had an event that I needed to go to and was told it would only take 1 hour l was there for a total of 2 hours to just curl my hair and add extensions the picture l showed the stylist was not even close to what it looked like in the picture she didn’t know how to do the stylist she should have just told me she couldn’t do it so we could have done something different but she spent so much time attempting to do it and my hair was frizzy even after I told her to add something it looked horrible l had no time to even complain to fix it when she was finally done because l was so late and had to rush home to change. My pictures later that day looked like l never had my hair done my hair looked frizzy and my curls didn’t last half the night . Will never go again l should have gone to dry bar they do a better job and last longer.

Bad customer service out of all Ulta we have been to. Staff at the register ( her name is Rina) does not even look a customer in the eye, does not greet customer, asks for phone number right away. Needs customer satisfaction training.

There’s never anyone there to help. They’re usually talking at the registers. Today I went in to buy a couple of things and the cashier was talking to another associate, the minute I walk up to approach for help they scatter. This has happened before usually with the male associate, I was shopping in the FENTY area and I made eye contact with him and started walking towards him and he quickly turned around and began chatting it up with another associate. As a person who works retail it’s very disappointing to go into a store like this and be ignored by an employee. I love ULTA but they really do need to train their associates better.
