“Found Bad Ash Cigar on Ventura Blvd in Woodland Hills by chance as I sat across the street eating Mexican lunch. The lounge, indoor and outside patio, is awesome, clean, well ventilated. The cigar selection is good and be sure to ask why the house unlabeled sticks are higher priced than some of the branded ones. There's a great reason and answer, and I bought a few! The guys are very knowledgeable and helpful without tailing you everywhere, and I've bought a lot of their 'Bad Ash' branded merchandise, as I think it's one of the best names!”

“This place is a nice little smoke shop. The people have always been super nice. Their prices are about the same in most places but since it’s around the corner from my house sometimes I just go there instead of driving to another place. The only thing is there is another place if I want a cheaper price on some things. Another big thing they don’t have and should is spare parts to mods. They don’t have to have all parts to every mod but things that are universal like the tanks they don’t have the glass. So my wife broke the glass to her tank and they don’t carry spare parts so we would have to go all across town to get her a new one.”
“I've been coming to this place for 5 years. Great customer service. They are always willing to answer questions if you are new to the cigar world. Both owners are the coolest dudes in the cigar industry. They are very accomidating. They host cigar and sports events. Great place to kick . Very clean location. Today, I called when they were closed, and they reopened just for my father in law and I to grab a quick cigar. Now that's what you call putting your customers first.”

When you first enter, you are met with a warm welcome by the store manager, Brian. Such a friendly and knowledgeable gentlemen. The selection is vast, from cigars to all of the tools. I had the opportunity to not only meet the owner, Javier, he actually sat down with me and indulged while we conversed for over an hour. What a gentleman and his cigar knowledge is beyond reproach. The cigar lounge is a spacious and calming atmosphere while the lounge members made me feel right at home. What a great place to relax, watch sports, and have some great conversations. “Came here about a month ago and saw a piece of glass I really liked and I told the guy I'd be back in a couple weeks but ended up taking me about a month to get over here since it's nowhere near where I usually am but the guy that was working today helped me out just as good as the first guy and I couldn't be happier. By far the best smoke shop in this whole area I would say if I lived up here I would be here way more a bunch of stuff. Thanks for the quick great service. That'll be all! Thanks, guys! In all seriousness, Giftworx is a great shop with comparable prices and excellent service. Although I'm a bit vampy, I try to stop by during the afternoon to say hi to Dee and enjoy a bit of existential conversation and sage wisdom. Dee is the man! And Giftworx is the jam!”

Did not try to upsell me on anything; in fact, he down-sold me on a more affordable vape that had all the bells and whistles of the more expensive version, but less parts to replace and a much lower price tag at that. “Owner is very nice, helpful, and professional. He knows all his regular customers by name. The store is always very clean, and the water tastes great. I'm very sensitive to the taste of impurities in tap water. This water is very clean and refreshing, as good as bottled water from the store, but at a fraction of the cost. I literally drink over a half gallon a day. I get the regular Reverse Osmosis water, which is 45 cents per gallon ($2.25 for 5 gallons) or $35 for 100 gallons if you prepay for the R.O. (Reverse Osmosis) club. Alkaline water is available at a higher price. He also sells large water bottles and hand water pumps, and tobacco related stuff. I'll definitely be coming back here on a regular basis.”
