We are definitely appreciating the efforts the leadership is making at Porter Ranch. I also noticed that some staff members have privacy on their radars while some are as loud as ever. Overall, the shift is in the right direction. There was yet another issue during my last visit by an employee that just hasn't committed to service yet and a follow up conversation with the managing pharmacist shed light on the process of the script origin that would facilitate completion of the orders smoothly. I have passed on the information to my doctor's office via KP.org. I am hoping the formatting request by the pharmacist communicated to my doctor congeal soon. It's a lot of effort continually being the recipient of internal systemic issues. I am happy to support a smooth transaction, but we're still not there. It's not just one issue, one incident, nor one person that's the problem, but more change has come about from this yelp chain than all the phone calls over the past multiple years. The goal is to have a single smooth transaction. I think that's not too much to ask. We're trending towards the desired goal. And kudos to the managing pharmacist who responded to the nuanced questions diplomatically and specifically. We may have discovered the root of one of the issues. I took notes, and communicated the recommendations to my doctor's office. The next interaction will be proof. I am hopeful. I'm just wondering how it could have been right from the start. I should never have experienced the residual effects of internal issues.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Dr. Derrick Albert Lee, a pediatrician, at Kaiser in Porter Ranch. He demonstrated a complete lack of professionalism by inaccurately documenting what I said in the medical notes. I would strongly advise against seeking medical assistance from Dr. Derrick Albert Lee. I will personally never allow Derrick Albert Lee to see my child ever again. I'd suggest to anyone reading this to choose another doctor.

This is a newer Kaiser location. It's small and very trendy with nice decor. The service of care is amazing. The care you receive is very welcoming and the doctors are knowledgeable. Excellent care by the doctors at this location. They provide basic services of care due to the place being small. They have a pharmacy, eyeglass section, labs, and some scans at this location. Tots never crowded so it's never a long wait. Plentiful parking. Great place to run in and real quick.

My first time at this location for an appointment. I had previously been to the Pharmacy once. I liked the early check in using the kp.org appt. When I arrived I checked in through a text and paid my co-pay in advance. I liked the contactless option. Especially if a patient is not feeling well and to prevent spreading any illness. The building is nice and bright due to the huge glass walls. The natural light is a refreshing change for regular waiting rooms and exam rooms. Very clean and sleek inside. Wide elevators and hallways are wheelchair friendly. Waiting rooms have sturdy nice wide chairs Plenty of accessible parking. Welcoming staff. Warm nursing staff.

My longtime Kaiser doctor in Mission Hills moved; he recommended I switch to the new facility in Porter Ranch. Selecting/seeing a new internist was difficult and I could not get a longstanding prescription refilled no matter what I did. Finally I got an appointment with new doctor, who was sick the day of my appointment. (Yes, they called at 8am but # was blocked, so I ignored. Usually I can tell when Kaiser is calling.). The point of this is to say that a very accommodating employee at check in named Kimberly made sure I got seen within an hour by another doctor; a nice nurse gave me a thorough pre-visit check, then Dr. Choi took the time to see me and went over many options with me for my simple refill request. The new offices are lovely... and near much shopping :) Now that I am established again, I look forward to returning to this new facility. They really went out of their way to help me out when I was extremely frustrated with the "system."

I went in for an appointment on 10/25/2022 and they recommended the flu shot so I got it. As soon the nurse stuck the needle into my arm I felt it burn all the way up to my head. I immediately knew this was not normal and I'm sure she hit a nerve. I immediately returned to get checked and of course told the doctor but she didn't believe me. She said maybe I just pulled a muscle. She referred me to physical therapy. I was barely even able to move my neck and left arm due to this shot. I don't recommend getting the flu shot because if they do it wrong they will not admit it. It's now been a month and I'm still in pain. Never again will I get that flu shot again.

Our first time visit to this facility went smoothly. We were seen right on time and our visit with Dr Huang was quick and efficient. We were sent for x ray on the same visit which was also quick and painless. Very impressed with the friendliness from all the staff starting from the registration desk! Also impressed with the cleanliness of the entire facility.

It's funny that the doctor had to lie to me about the Covid vaccine in order to try to convince me to get it. She mocked me for wanting to refuse it and started spewing misinformation about it like a puppet such as "the vaccine is 100% effective" LOL. I will post the female doctor's name once i remember. I also asked for specific toxins to be checked for in my blood test that I paid too much for because of my exposure to certain chemicals, and she again mocked me and said how unnecessary that was. Hellooo gaslighting central. Now to think of it, I haven't met a single Kaiser doctor that isn't an incompetent narcissist. It would be one thing if they were competent narcissists, at least theyd be good at their jobs. What a fool and what a waste of a huge co-pay. Kaiser is always full of ABSOLUTE clowns.

Had a bad experience here the other day. I went with my son for his physical and saw Dr Lee, who was super nice and friendly and very knowledgeable. After the visit we were instructed by the doctor to go to the lab for Covid testing as my son needed it for his school (he didn't have any symptoms whatsoever). We went back down to the fast pass registration and was told to go directly to 106 past the laboratory. When we got there, I asked politely if we were at the right place. To my surprise the two staff inside got mad at us. As I tried to explain that we were instructed to go there, the male staff rudely and angrily cut me off and got mad at us for being in there. We were simply following the directions given to us. He could have just said that we shouldn't be there and told us what to do but instead he belittled me, made me feel disrespected and dumb. Afterwards, when I asked for his name he told me brazenly "You can report me to whoever you want!" This man is very unprofessional, condescending and has a bad attitude. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect and kindness. This is not what I'm used to at Kaiser, me and my family have been with Kaiser for 20 years. This person presents Kaiser in a bad light.

She mistreated me for rejecting her treatment. Since I did she said "Don't expect me to feel bad, when you get sick!" Very unethical.
