My experience is always good except when I get to the register. I don't understand why you changed the rewards program where I have to download your app on my phone. It used to be where when the cashier entered my phone number it would automatically bring up my $5.00 off. Not all people have access or want to download apps on their phones, especially SENIORS. Why would you change it from the way it was??????????????

Took my pet into Petco in Porter Ranch on June 17 ,To get an Allergy shot at the Vetco clinic for licking of his paws with an appointment .My pet dog was taken to the back room where the techs are which I didn't understand why when I WANTED TO BE PRESENT WITH MY DOG WHEN RECEIVING THE SHOT THAT THEY CLAIM WAS GIVEN. I spoke to Robert the VETCO manager
why I couldn't be there with my dog when given the shot he said No one is allowed in the back room. was also told to wait 24hrs for the shot given to my pet to work .3 days pass and my dog is still licking his paws so I asked for a refund where ROBERT refused to give. I called and spoke to LEXI which was the Petco store manager and was very helpful in helping me to try to resolve this refund situation. placed a call to customer service with me also on the line which took over 1hr to even speak with the care agent which was not helpful at all and placed us on hold and never came back on the line. Lexi herself was great in providing great service. I have called the Petco headquarters and filed a complaint with the Vetco clinic and am currently waiting for a response back. This grade given here is for the VETCO clinic only .

Brought my dog to this Porter Ranch location one week ago for a nail trim and today I see a nail has grown into her paw. We paid extra for VIP treatment and this is what we got.!

Grooming appointment set at 1:30 for a 8 lb short hair Chihuahua and after waiting until 3:40, I call the store and no answer. I show up unannounced at 4 only for them to say please give 20 more minutes. I asked why was it taking so long when over the years the most the service had ever taken was an hour and a half and only because they were busy. I went because I had another appointment at 430. Every groomer has always said, it takes them 30 min to groom my dog. Well this time the girl at the front said, well you didn't pay for the vip service. I said I've never heard of it nor was it ever offered to me before. She said that unless I pay extra even if I have an appointment they will book and take other dogs ahead of mine so that's why it takes longer. I said I've been bringing my dog to this store for many years and have never heard of it. No where on the store or booking online does it say anything about paying extra for having the basic service done. I wouldn't have minded the delay if full disclosure was given. Customers book appointments because they have other things going on. I think it's beyond bad customer service not to fully disclose or announce having to pay extra just to get the pet groomed in less than 4 hours. They even had the audacity to ask for a tip. I have always been a generous tipper but definitely not today.

I only come here for the grooming salon. It is standard-issue Petco in every other respect: while the cashier is friendly and helpful, there is usually just a single cashier at any time, so you might end up waiting to check out. The grooming salon is nice, and the service is excellent. Prices here are about $10 higher than at other salons for some reason. It would be nice if the salon was near the front and had a separate entrance. Morning appointments can be a hassle since if the main store is closed you have to force the doors apart to enter and then walk towards the rear of the store.

I made a vet appointment yesterday and received my email confirmation. I drove almost 45 min to find out my appointment was canceled because I accidentally put wrong number for the appointment. They told me it was my fault in a VERY rude way! ( of course was my mistake) but they had my email where they sent me the confirmation!!
I asked them why they didn’t send a cancelation email and the guy helping me just told me “we were busy today so we could’t send you an email”.
TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF!! They “manager” was rude at all times!!
Be aware of this place!

Variety of dog foods were widely available and the perks of when buying 10 dog dry dog food items are nice. Online ordering is competitively priced and convenient when picking up at store.

We needed to return something due to our error. We purchased the wrong food. The person was great at taking it back and getting us what we needed. They also were wonderful about helping up find the items we wanted.

Jonathan was amazing! He went out of his way to recommend me what dog food I should get for my dog. He went over the best ingredients to look for in the food and what to avoid. I've never had anyone help me this much, I truly appreciated it. He educated me and was kind. I would 100% recommend this place but especially to ask for him for help.
