I can't say enough good things about our veterinarian office! From the moment you walk in, the friendly atmosphere makes you feel right at home. The staff is incredibly welcoming and genuinely cares about every pet that comes through their doors.
Kat our vet tech/Manager and all the others for that matter is absolutely fantastic--she always goes above and beyond to ensure our Penny, Shylah and Chloe are comfortable and well taken care of. Her warmth and compassion really shine through, making every visit a positive experience.
Dr. Linda McKinnon is simply amazing! Her expertise and dedication to animal health are evident, and we always leave feeling confident in the care our pets receive. Dr. McKinnon takes the time to answer all our questions and explain things thoroughly, which we truly appreciate. She never rushes us out.
Overall, we absolutely love this veterinary office! They make our pets feel special, and we couldn't ask for better care. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great vet!

I would never go there again. The doctor eluded that I abused my cat. She didn't introduce herself to me or my cat before she decided to approach the cat. My cat was removed from the examination room. I cant imagine a cat being approached by a strange person in a room without the guardian wanting to stick a needle in her a calming experience. The doctor blamed me and the cat for being scratched. Now my cat is even more traumatized thanks to that doctor.

Our pug Milo LOVES the staff here and is always welcomed with a smile. The team they have here is exceptional. It’s worth my 20 minute drive for his appointments and checkups because I know they’ll take care of him without just brushing him aside like most vet offices I’ve dealt with in the past. Highly highly recommend ✨

CI Veterinarian Clinic is the best! I have been taking my dogs and cats there for over 15 years. The doctors are very knowledgeable and always provide options and recommendations for treating my animals. The other staff are amazing! Friendly, competent and compassionate. I highly recommend Channel Islands Veterinary Clinic without any reservations.

I have been a client of Channel Islands Vet and their sister clinic Las Posas Vet for over a decade. They provide quality services and take the time to get to know me and my pet and answer my questions. They always tell me what they recommend and what is going on with my animals in a way that I feel confident I understand.
The atmosphere is further helped by the fact the techs, receptions and vets stay for years. So me and my animals are more comfortable because we are familiar with the people.
They genuinely love animals and it’s obvious as soon as you step in.

Took my chihuahua there last January. Dog has a well documented history of seizures. Dog needs a refill. We saw Dr. Hoven. Dog got a physical and Blood work - $350. Dr. Hoven was “unable” to give me a paper script so I could get Dog’s meds cheaper at Costco. I paid $45 for 30 pills at Dr. Hoven. Same generic pills used to cost $40 for 90 pills. I asked again for a script. The office people put me off two more weeks. I called two more times requesting my dogs refill and got different excuses. All lies. I could only buy Dog’s meds from the vet. Also, Dr Hoven insisted on us buying a 6 month supply of Nextguard, for fleas and ticks. Our dogs didn’t have, and still don’t have fleas. But, no worries, Dr. Hoven got her $kickback$ from Nextguard, and my money. So, if you gotta go to this Vet, be wary.
