Same posting as others regarding keeping scheduled appointments. This one-man show is the most unreliable groomer I've had the unfortunate experience with in 6 years of my loyalty. When the business ownership changed from Jordan, this business went way downhill. I scheduled 3 appointments (this time, and 2 previous appointments last week) and the owner (Matt?) repeatedly either didn't just show up or left last minute texts to cancel the day of the scheduled appointments. The owner always has absurd excuses for last minute cancel excuses ranging from the "bad weather" that doesn't happen, "I lost my car keys" to the dog ate my homework.Learn from my experience, don't walk away from this business, but RUN!

i usually groom my dogs but this is my first large breed - and after being turned away from others on the basis of not accepting new cliental, we booked my 10month golden for a nail trimming hair trim and bath . i was not disappointed and will be returning

Matt does great work on our dogs when he's there. However, he is very unprofessional with scheduling. He was a no show several times, cancels last minute and confirms appointment time but then says he had a different time scheduled. This has happened on many occasions and not just to me, friends and others who have waited out of the shop with me.

We have used Barking Good twice now for our senior dog & his grooming! Very happy with the service(s) - bath, nail trim & ear cleaning! Also happy with the customer service, the easy process of making an appointment & how are dog is treated (is not stressed when picked up)..We recommend Barking Good for your dogs grooming needs!

It’s been extremely difficult to try and reach this groomer. Calls and texts go unanswered. Finally received a text back days later. Told me to come 8/22 and scheduled an appointment for 11am. Came today and waited outside of the location for more than 40 mins. No response, no call, no pick up. Do not waste your time. Find another groomer who is willing to do business.

Young irresponsible cavalier businessman, they consitantly fail to meet their responsibilities ,twice in a row this time, previously just didn't show up.Mat is a nice kid but dumb as a sack of rocks. Never again.

The sign is misleading. This place does grooming ONLY. They do not sell pet supplies.Full disclosure; I did not use any services, I was only looking for dog shampoo. Id rather give my money to a small business? but Petco wins this time.

Tl;Dr - The grooming results are good. They've always treated my dogs well. The groomers themselves are all over the place. They don't keep the appointments they make and their communication skills are poor. It's very disrespectful to the customers and unprofessional.Long version:I used to feel assured taking my dogs here to be groomed or have their nails trimmed. They've always done good work with my dogs. The issue is their lack of communication. They're difficult to get a hold of, they're inconsistent and lately they've been very unreliable.Example: They scheduled an appointment with me on Sunday. They knew they'd be closed on that day and they still let me make an appointment anyways.Today when they were supposed to be open at 8am. They were closed and flaked on a bunch of people who showed up to the business via appointments. I understand emergencies happen. Life happens. They still had the responsibility of contacting their customers and letting them know of the situation so they could rearrange their day and take their pets elsewhere.They couldn't be bothered to extend the minimum courtesy of a text to let anyone know the business wasn't going to be open. This isn't the first instance of disrespect I've seen but I've had enough of it. I'm sad for everyone inconvenienced because of their thoughtlessness and irresponsibility.They must not care about their customers or they don't care if their careless decisions reflects poorly on their business. I hope they get their act together. Until they do, look somewhere else.

I was referred to BGG by my brother. Having a new pet, I found it difficult to upkeep his goomimg needs. BGG has been nothing short of amazing to my boy Big. Having an American Bully can shy people away however when I walked in I found the owner playing with him on the floor as if he was a baby. I was so happy they have treated him so kind. Big is truly a kind and shy dog. Thank you BGG for taking good care of him. He's been there 5x

This groomer does a great job, my yellow lab is always excited to go in. They take care not to get water in his ears since he easily gets ear infections. Reasonably priced services. Usually able to fit him in for a same-day appointment during the week.

I brought-in Salem (my one year old female Belgian Malinois rescue, who I've had for a month) for a groom on Saturday, 17 September 2022. Before bringing in Salem, she was, in my opinion, overly licking and gnawing herself (Before you come screaming at me - I'm changing her flea and tick medicine) and her Vet found some superficial dermatitis so prescribed her a 10-day cefpoderm Rx as her treatment. Salem and I were professionally and happily greeted, we discussed Salem's licking, gnawing, and her superficial dermatitis on her haunches, given a summary of what to expect (the products they'll be using, how long her visit would take, that they would call me when Salem was ready, etc...), and was completely satisfied with Salem's grooming and care. When I picked up Salem, she was her normal self; which made me happy, because part of this visit was to gauge her separation anxiety and how she'd react to being left with someone else. Since the visit, Salem's not licking nor gnawing herself as frequently; maybe 2-3 times per day since the visit. So long as Barking Good maintains this level of professionalism, Salem and I are definitely coming back.
