Unfortunately, it was a bad experience. Although it is a university but they want to abuse more than the private veterinary clinic. They exaggerate things to get more money, No Mercy, and they don't care about our pets. moreover, unexplained long waiting time. Keep your pet away ?

I enjoy going here with my dogs. The vets inform us of what is occurring in our dog’s bodies so we can understand the situation. They are respectful about financial situations and offer different options for treatment to accommodate. We have seen Dr. Moore and Dr. Ellis. Phenomenal. All the staff have been lovely and treat our dogs with love and respect.

Brought my cat to Western U Pet about two months ago, my cat was throwing up blood, so I brought him in and they performed ultrasound and x-rays finding a mass in my cat stomach. 2 to 3 weeks later we did surgery, Dr. Kim removed a grape size mass that unfortunately had cancer. The vet referred me to an oncologist. Leko is on his eighth week of chemotherapy and his white blood cells are free of any cancer. I really appreciate this vet! And the price for the procedure was fairly price.

Took my Mastiff mix here from the time she was 2 until she was 9.5. We absolutely love the staff, student and especially love the director - Dr. Clark. When she was 2, my pup needed double knee surgery. She couldn't walk due to rupturing her CCL in one leg and tearing it in the other. They helped us understand options, payment plans and get everything scheduled. They did an amazing job. They were 1/2 the cost of everywhere else. Because of the excellent service we got from them, we continued to bring her back. We live 30-40 mins away. When she was 8 a local Ear vet diagnosed her with failing kidneys. She was given a year to live. Between Western U and VCA Ontario, we were blessed to have another 18 months with her. The day she passed, I took her in for a checkup knowing something wasn't right. The vet and staff were so understanding and caring. They gave us an entire bag of treats and said give her as many as you'd like. We walked her out front on the grass for an hour giving her lots of love before bringing her back in to say our final goodbyes. Not only did we get the expected package of her remains but the staff all signed a card sharing their condolences. They all knew my big T as the mini Mastiff (she was 100 lbs) and it meant so much to know they cared about her as much as I did. I share this vet with everyone and tell them how it may be far but it's worth the drive.

Very clean!!!! Love how the staff and doctors here are super organized! And answered all my questions about my furbaby's surgery! Only thing I didn't like was dropping off my anxious dog off (he's a rescue so head noise) at 7AM and surgery not starting until 4:00pm. But overall things are very good knee surgery was a success... but I know he was probably sad and anxious waiting in the crate.

I was a loyal customer to this place until they show their true colors. I moved from Pomona to Azusa and I was still trying to be loyal to them cause like I've said I was with them since 2022 and I call to let them know I was gonna be late due to the traffic. On top of it I started with a Dog and now I was taking my Cat. Well they checked with the doctor to see if it was ok for me to still come in. Well she gets on the phone telling me that "is going to be $25 for each pet if I'm late," What??? You got to be kidding me?? And I said why all of the sudden hidden fees?? And they tell you one price and then they change it after you're done going in with the vet. Let me remind you these people are students OUR DOGS AND CATS ARE GUINIA PIGS FOR THEM WE SHOULD NOT BE PAYING MORE THAN WHAT WE ARE SUPPOSED TOO..!!! I took my business somewhere else and they sent my. vaccinations and to be honest I am glad I stood up to these people. They take advantage of people that owned pets because they know we love our pets and they're part of our family. SHAME ON VETERINARIANS THAT WANT TO EXPLOIT JUST LIKE THIS ONE ON PET OWMERS THAT LOVE AND CARE FOR THEIR PETS. I WOULDN'T RECOMMENDTHIS PLACE.

Very positive. The intern came in and asked a multitude of questions regarding my dogs problem. Then did a preliminary checkup on her before the actual vet made an appearance and checked her findings. Was very forth coming with his findings.
