I cannot for the life of me understand why every single employee I have encountered at this post office has been absolutely horrid. Just a complete lack of professionalism and human decency. Their service needs major improvements. They are repeatedly rude and disrespectful to customers. I don't expect my yelp review to make any difference. Should have known given it's a government agency. They will continue to treat people like dirt and get away with it and never be held accountable.

I haven't been to this post office in a while due to some issues before. But I really needed a passport and even though I didn't have an appointment I decided to try to walk in and see if they could accommodate me. I got there and walked right up to the desk. They let me "walk-in" to get my passport. They were super nice and friendly. The process was so quick and the person who helped me was knowledgeable about the process. There has definitely been some improvement in overall quality here. The customer service aspect has improved, and having no wait time was the best. I will be returning here for future mail and post office needs.

Hi there well I just want to say good work Pomona post office ! I had a service request to find a package that was scanned as delivered but i never got it , so I was very concerned , I was wondering where my package was . So I called the post office and the lady called me back the next day and was very helpful and concerned herself and apologized and said she is gonna make sure the package is found, and the next day I got my package and she even called and to check if I received it that they had the carriers look for it . And it was found so yes very satisfied. She seem to care and was very sweet . If it ever happens to you please call and ask for a service request

This post office use to be horrible. Today i went and ship a priority mail and even though there was a line the clerks works fast and very polite.

Not very helpful. I'm just looking for a change of address form. Is that like the number one thing you're supposed to have here. Grateful I don't live here. Sure you can go online but they're gonna charge you . One more place I have to put a credit card so annoying.

My mail lady (that belongs to this office) stole my mail. Marking my package delivered though I never received it. My complex and ring camera confirmed that no package was delivered. Upon requesting package information I spoke to Nate who tracked my package and said my mail lady had" miss located" my package. When I received it I received a package with a different package than the original, the tags had been removed from the clothing I ordered and it smelled like BO as the clothing had obviously been worn. This is disgusting. Stealing mail is a federal crime, and shouldn't be taken lightly, I am certain this employee has a history of stealing and is clear their using their job to commit crimes. I have lost trust in this organization and wish they would've taken this incident more serious than "just had a talk with her supervisor"

Horrible service. Older Asian Gentleman was trying send a package. His English wasn't great, but he was trying. He didn't have the box taped up. The lady he went to didn't even try to help him. She handed him tape and the tag and had him go to another area. It was obvious he was having trouble and didn't know what to do. The employee then started talking trash about him in Spanish to another employee. It took another customer to help him with the tape (older guy didn't have the hand dexterity to manipulate the roll). Another employee then said, (In spanish), "That's why you need to speak Spanish or English." When he finally got the package set up, she waived her finger at him and said Sayanara (Im pretty sure he wasn't Japanese) and laughed at him. Very unprofessional. I felt horrible for the older guy. This place is just dripping with anti-asian racism. BTW. I sat in the parking lot writing this and about 30% of the customers during that time were Asian.

Phone number is dead, line goes to busy signal. Cannot call anyone. National line says 3 days to process request. Our item was jammed into mailbox and unable to retrieve item.

The place always looks presentable. The staff here is hardworking and trying their best. Sometimes they may seem to be having a hard day, but they're human. Thank you all for your hard work and for some it doesn't go unappreciated.

The old white man at the pick up window. The one on the side of the main line is very unprofessional and rude. If you hate your job just quit. No need to be there acting rude to people who are just trying to pick up their mail. I felt discriminated. I think he's a racist.

This is the second time this has happened I was trying receive to receive a package. We were home all day have a ring doorbell When we went outside the notice on the door said no one here to receive. Reality they never actually attempted it. We have the video record I now have to figure out how to get it. As I can't on their app of phone change delivery instructions as their system is down for maintenance If it happened once it's happened to me more than t once. So I will try the post office tomorrow and see if we can rescue the packages

Went today for passport appointments (3 were scheduled). The time scheduled was 11-11:45. One person backed out due to having to work. We were about 8 mins late however my allotted time was from 11-11:45. We were told that the person(Irma) that does them was not there and would be right back. At 11:38 she finally came back 30 mins later and the regular line was super long. The person told her that she had an appointment. She finally called us over then told us that she would need to ask the supervisor. The supervisor said they would only be able to do 1. The appointment was a 45 min block. We were 8 mins late and waited 30 mins to be told that they could only do 1. Extremely poor customer service/ service PERIOD.

Worst post office ever. The carrier we had was a thief. He was the only one we had ever had for any length of time. Yesterday I was supposed to receive a package. We have informed delivery. It arrived at the post office, then it was out for delivery, then the status changed to insufficient address. The remainder of the day it still said it would be delivered by 9pm. I called the 800 number today and they didn't have any answers for me. They said they would open a claim. I called the branch 13 times. Nobody answers. It rings until it finally disconnects you. I just checked again and now it says returned to sender. This is all showing up on my informed delivery, which means they have the tracking number which I confirmed with the 800 number, pulls up my address. They are updating it in the system, so they know exactly where this package should be going. This is pure incompetence! When we first moved to Pomona a few years ago, the wicked witch that works there yelled at me when I asked for a piece of tape and told me I would need to purchase an entire roll. I have NEVER had a post office refuse to give me a piece of tape when I'm mailing something. I leave my packages unsealed until I get there so that I can make sure I am mailing it in the most efficient way. I do not give my business to Pomona anymore. I go out of my way to go to La Verne or Claremont. They don't treat everyone like criminals. They smile and don't act like miserable zombies.
