Destiny the cashier was really rude to my mother, she has no customer service. Not sure if she was having a bad day or she doesn’t like to work but she’s super rude. She also gave us a ripped bag and didn’t offer to give us another one.

I don't care for the Pomona Ross because all the lps(loss prevention wearing vests and the ones undercover in store) follow and stare at you like a criminal...yes I understand homeless run off with product because the park is right behind the store) but DONT treat your working and paying customers as though they are about to steal something...yes...i can "feel" your stares from far away and when you pass by the aisles with odd items in your hands front and back rows...you loss prevention at Ross,Pomona target and Walmarts are EASY to spot...try and be less inconspicuous...

I mainly go to Ross when I'm looking for a hard-cover journal or notebook. They come in all shapes and sizes with a variety of pretty covers. They cost as little as $2.99. Every now and then I find a dress, but their selection of items for plus size women just isn't very good.

I went in to do some Christmas shopping and I had asked a manger ( I believe her name was destiny) if they could check if they had an item in-stock and right away she gave me some attitude huffed and rolled her eyes. I was very disappointed because I've never had any problems when shopping at this Ross except for that day. As a manager she should be priding herself on customer service and obviously she is lackin.

This company is a joke they post they are hiring and you apply then they say you don't qualify their standards. So how in the world are you going to give an opportunity to someone looking for work. They are always short staff and staff calling off. This is so upsetting you have requirements for a cashier position. Good luck with keeping employees and finding new ones.

My wife and I recently purchased a small couch for our dog at this Ross store. Initially, we were unaware that the cashier had given us a 15% discount due to the item being slightly dirty, rendering it unrefundable. Unfortunately, this information wasn't communicated to us at the time of purchase. A few days later, we attempted to return the couch as our dog didn't take to it, only to encounter an unpleasant experience. The cashier, whose name slipped my mind, was unhelpful and rude when I requested to speak with a supervisor. Instead of assisting, she seemed more interested in alerting the manager via their communication system. The supervisor on duty, Ericka, mirrored the same unhelpful attitude and lacked professionalism. However, refusing to give up, I returned after a short break, and luckily, a new supervisor named Jessie was there. Jessie handled the situation with utmost professionalism and understanding, allowing the return considering the circumstances. Kudos to Jessie for salvaging the situation with his exemplary customer service. Nevertheless, the behavior exhibited by the cashier and Ericka was disappointing and does not reflect well on the store's image. It's crucial for staff, especially in retail, to exhibit courtesy and professionalism. I hope the management considers providing additional customer service training to avoid such incidents in the future.

DO NOT WORK HERE! considering ? don't. Freddy is a dope manager ! But for some reason the older white guy will scream at you and shame you through the speaker on purpose. Fitting room is gross and bathrooms stink. Props for the fitting room workers tho. Remember having to smell and clean up after everyones clothes that was left messy, and having to roll my rack but also keep watch of fitting room 30 miles away? They don't want employees for some reason. Caught covid because of it.

Terrible store, we were going for a walk to Los Angeles and we came to get sweaters, we went to the Restroom, there was only 1 for employees and customers, we wasted time in line, then when we paid, they still haven't finished packing and they are already talking to the next customer, no They pay attention and they did not remove the anti-theft detector from one of the sweaters and we realized a day later, we went to another branch near where we were and the ticket did not match the garment, they did not want to remove the detector, ugh, throw the garment away for the terrible service of the store….
