“I did not realize this business was on the Northside of Foothill Blvd. The staff at Pet Services PSS Hotel in Pomona recommended that I ask the owner April concerning senior miniature schnauzer Nigel's food. And lo & behold when I walked into this quaint store. Awesome ! you can bathe your fur babies nice and comfortable, great varieties of dog & cat foods, treats and toys. Friendly & knowledgeable owner April. Just overall a wonderful pet store.”

“My mom got me the best gift of my life from this pet store and I am forever grateful! He is a pug named Shorty, whom is now 13.5 years old. The owner of the store said she thought his mother delivered all of the puppies, but after leaving the room for a few minutes or so, as the story goes, she came back into the room and there he was on the floor. She had to give mouth to mouth to revive him, because he was suffocating. Thank god that she did. She said she would walk around holding him all day as she worked, and that she and her husband were contemplating keeping him, because they were becoming attached to him. Thank god for me that didn't happen. Otherwise, I would have never received the greatest gift of my life and my best friend Shorty. Anyway, I just wanted to say thank you to the owners, and to everyone else, that this is a great store to get your pet from. Thanks again?”

The entire staff from Barb who worked the front, to the bathers and groomers are just fantastic and you can tell that they care about the animals in the back. “Pet Wants OC North goes above and beyond! We switched over from pedigree (I know, I know) several years ago and through a family recommendation started our dogs on Pet Wants food. Our dogs loved it! When my 10 year old senior dog was having trouble keeping weight on Othman suggested I try to put her on their puppy food to see if that would help! And it definitely did! Our dog was happier and healthier. Once her weight was back where it should be we started her on the chicken and brown rice. Just within the last 24 hours our dog ran out of food several days early from our scheduled delivery. I reached out to Othman and he said he can get food to me the next day in the evening. But to my surprise at 9 AM the next morning I had my order. I didn't have to run out and get an emergency can of dog food. Our dog is now 13 years old and as healthy as can be and I really believe it's from her high quality pet food from Petwants. Thank you Othman for going above and beyond!”

“I've bought supplies from this location in person and online through curbside pickup. Their hay is great! I love that they have orchard hay since I'm allergic to the others and it's affordable. This was one of the locations I was considering when adopting a rabbit. “My family and I have always had a positive experience with Omar's! Although, the store can be bustling at times, the staff (especially Diana, Trevor, and Savannah) are incredibly knowledgeable and patient which makes the whole experience at Omar's all the more worthwhile. We have had our AGC gender test and grooming done here. The grooming was professionally done and I appreciate the care they took with our girl. Also when it came to picking up the gender test results, Savannah took the time to write and draw a congratulatory message/image for us when we opened the results letter. I like how their gender results also includes a certificate as well. Diana is just the sweetest and I love how she and the other staff make sure that you have a pleasant experience there. For instance, we were looking for a particular toy and Trevor was able to show us different options that we can choose from and the ones that we ended up purchasing, our flock absolutely LOVE! Also love and appreciate how the birds are able to roam around on their perches. You can tell that there is alot of care that comes into caring for the birds as well as the store itself (organized and clean). Although we live an hour away, Omar's (especially this location) is our go-to spot! ^^”

“My dog, Oso, have never been to a pet grooming place. This was his first and I have to tell you I am impressed by the service received. They bathe, groomed, and de-shed my dog. I will be honest the price was a bit on the high end (My dog is a medium built dog around 20-30 lbs.). Asking price was 95$ and we paid 90$ with 5$ discount for the review here. Unless there are other place can do it 10-20$ less, I will visit this place again.”

“It is more on the expensive side, but I think it is worth it if my pet is eating great QUALITY food! I don't buy from petsmart or petco anymore. I have a Pomeranian and he has had a big hair loss problem over the past year. He was dealing with Post Clipping Alopecia! His loss of hair started after we took him to a groomer in town over a year ago and they shaved him without my permission!!! Ever since 2 months ago, he has started eating Stella and Chewy's raw frozen food on top of giving him some omega 3 oil his hair has grown back a lot! Petco/petsmart only have freeze dried, they don't have the ones in the fridges like this place. I have struggled so much with trying every remedy to help grow his hair back before I came across this store. I also, bought goat milk from this place and he loves it as well!! I'm so thankful for this store!”

“I have been to this Petsmart for years. Shanna is the lady I always talk to and she is the sweetest person ever! I came to get my kitty some food and treats today, I used to come every week for my dog but now that she is gone :( I only come once a month or so. “I’ve been looking for a place that could help cut my birds wings that’s closer than the magnolia pet farm. I called and she charged 7 which is worth not having to drive all the way to riverside. Great customer service! Had an awesome toucan just chillin that you could have jump on your arm. A good selection of birds, fish, mice, Guinea pigs, a few turtles lizards and snakes as well. It didn’t seem like the snakes were too cramped like I’ve read in other reviews. Maybe they listened to the reviewers and realized their mistakes? Anyway, I’ll most likely come back here for the wing clipping.”
