Sorry ,just wanted my hair cut ! was there well after posted opening time. door was locked and Someone was rushing up to unlock door and had look on their face like they didn't want to be there and sure as heck didn't want me there. I will go somewhere else .

Dont mistake 3 stars for bad. I got what I was looking for: a basic haircut, near home. Not some bougie salon that upsells products. Or a bunch of stylists whose hair makes me afraid of how mine will turn out. My accursed split ends are gone, hopefully salvaging what little thin, fine hair I have left. The place didn't reek of perms, dyes, or fancy sprays and shampoos that make my throat close up. The app made it easy to check in and know when to leave home. In 6 weeks, I'll get a trim. Easy peasy. And next to Starbucks! Cost:$21 + tip.

I absolutely love my hair after visiting, Lily was patient with me and made sure I left with a haircut that I was happy with. I don't chat very much so she didn't talk much either which I greatly appreciate. I will definitely return again.

Don't expect a perfect cut. Maybe two or three stylists are well practiced at the pomona location. And the check in system is a horrible setup. Basically don't put your name in until you're ready to leave the house because if they call you and you're not there (Even if you have 5-10 minutes left before your appointment) they will absolutely drop your name from the list. Rarely will they push you back. Frustrating to say the least. Especially when someone brings their three kids and somehow get in front of you even if you were in front of them.

So I've been to this Great Clips several times and for the most part I give it high ratings. Very clean helpful staff. The big disappointment is the Great Clips app. My time is precious to me and it always ends up that the app underestimates what you're waiting time is going to be. Would not mind at all if it gave me the right time or close to it so I can show up at the right time. So today I checked in via the app and it told me 30 minutes and I left my office accordingly, showed up at the Great Clips location and I was third in line on the waiting board and the girl said it'd be about another 30 minute wait. This is the second time that this has happened at this store for me and it's disappointing to say the least. No idea but there's another Great Clips a couple of miles away from here and Chino and I've never had a problem with that franchise using the app, guess I might have to start going back to that location or pick a new venue to start cutting my hair.

This is the second time this has happened, so I decided to finally post a review. I arrived at the location after work at 5:24pm. I didn't try to check in online because I was driving. When I arrived, the girl at the counter asked me if I checked in online. I said no, and then she said they couldn't take me in because of the time. I asked what time do they cut off online check ins? She said 5:30pm. She then proceeded to ignore me, and help two other customers while I just stood there. After they left, I reminded her it was not yet 5:30. She then double checked her computer screen to verify the time. She was caught, and knew it, so she asked another employee (an older woman) I'd they could take me in. She said no, because it's 5:30. I said it's not 5:30 yet (it was now 5:29), and I was told that I had up until 5:30. She then said there were two people ahead of me (actually 1 as they took in 1 while we were talking), and there wasn't enough time. So, I told her ok, I just won't come back here anymore. The haircuts have been mediocre overall, a real roll of the dice depending on who you get, so it's not a big loss. It's the closest one to my house, so it was convenient, and I sacrificed mediocrity for convenience. I know when I used to work for tips, I would try to get all the business I could. But, they don't seem like they really care about making money for themselves or the business owner. Like I mentioned before, this is the second time this happened, so I'll just take my business elsewhere.
