Horrible donation process. No one will help you, they ate very rude, and hardly accept anything that doesn't look brand new. I'd rather throw my stuff away

Great selection but prices are high for a thrift store. Best deal is the daily color, its only $1 per item! **Update weekly color is now $1.99 but you still can find some great items so worth it

I was just in this store and I donated some items that had sentimental value and the gentleman in the donation center was so friendly and careful with my fragile figurines. I was able to get a coupon for my donations and while I was shopping I loved how neat and organized the store was!

NO Goodwill First, the attendant shouted out everything that they would not take. This should be on their site. Another customer saw that I was bringing things back to my car and he said that he was going to throw his items away. Second, when the attendant saw me struggling with a box he did not even open the door for me. The door was open he must have closed it! I will never donate anything else to Goodwill again.

This Goodwill store has great customer service ! I had recently donated 2 bags of clothes and accidentally left behind a portable speaker within the bags I did not mean to donate. I contacted the store and they assisted me in finding it and contacting me quickly. I am really appreciative how helpful they were and how polite.

I just visited the store and it was so clean associates were very friendly. The pricing was right and I found some good items for my Halloween costume . I have to say this store has to be one of the most organized Goodwill that I've ever been to . I'll definitely be back there again . The cashier asked for a donation, and I asked her what was it four and she said it was their mission to create jobs. Love the Pomona store !

I was on my way home from work. I remember I had a bag of miscellaneous items in the trunk of my car for me to bring to Goodwill. I recall there was one Goodwill donation center on Foothill Blvd. So here I am. Upon driving up to the parking space, I saw a sign that said Donation Center Closed. It was about 6:15 PM. I thought they closed at 7:00 PM. I still walked up to the door to see if anyone was inside. A man came over to the window and said they were closed. I asked him if the front of the store would take the donations. He said no. It would be nice to have the front of store take donations after donation center hours. Just a suggestion. I know they would be accepting donations all day, but why not. People work all day so after work would be the only time they can do miscellaneous tasks. Anyway, I still have my misc bag of items in my car trunk LOL.

Mary was very great and of immense help! She knows her store very well and is a great person. I will definitely be back and I highly recommend you check out the location for great brand names such Adidas, Versace, Old Navy and Many more!

Donation center: Horrible service from attendant. I had a large box of clothing to donate which was a bit heavy. Had I known the guy working this morning , 9/21/23, in donation center would not step out beyond the doors to help me.. my box tore and I dropped it as I walked up, I was literally parked less than 8 steps away from donation "door"--I would have bagged clothing in separate bags to make it easier. Not only did this attendant not help me out & just stood there and watched me struggle, he was rude, had the worst attitude, and spoke at me instead of speaking to me. He did not ask nor offer receipt for donation either. I did not expect this experience considering I was there to donate. Donation process here is night and day compared to thrift store I go to in Glendora. Parking here in general is a challenge. Access to "donation area" will also be a challenge walking to if parking near front door is unavailable. Definitely not returning to this location for future donations.

I'm from San Bernardino I usually shop at Waterman this week and I went to the Pomona Goodwill and it is really nice and organized. Elizabeth was amazing. She asked for a donation and we gave it to her. I'll definitely be coming back.. I love this store!! I will be back!!

I recently moved to the city of San Dimas and decided I was going to venture out on a Goodwill Hall I started in the city of San Dimas which I had a very good experience was my first time there , which is a city I mentioned I reside in. I then , Googled my way down to the City of Pomona there I found a Goodwill on North Garey . I made my way into the store found a few items and after I completed my shopping spree I then headed to the register there I encountered the store manager Mary is totally unprofessional!! she represents Goodwill which allows her to be employed for customer service skills for which they believe she possesses in which she does not display. Mary is Completely rude does not have an iota of what customer service entails! I have read on Yelp that she has several complaints and I understand why. I am so disappointed in Goodwill for employing this individual they need to reconsider her and her actions and her customer service skills! Her appearance is frumpy and dumpy she does not represent Goodwill as a professional her appearance does not appear to be in a professional manner Mary. Does not have communication skills and does not have the skills to solve problems she's loud, rude and was unable to solve my problem or the person in front of me. for this being my first time at Goodwill in Pomona I am very dissatisfied and I will not be returning as long as she is as a manager she should actually be just a cashier or a person on the floor. Goodwill and Mary really need to go re-examine their mission statement with her! She does not represent Goodwill in any way shape or form!

This is the most organized goodwill I have ever been to- all clothing was divided by color (as usual) but also by size. Could have used additional home goods, though many of the soft furnishings were new, in box.
