This pumpkin festival was fun, but I had to take off 2 stars because the entrance fee was outlandish at 25 dollars a person. There are a lot of great things for the kids, but paying 25 dollars just to walk in is totally unnecessary. There are food vendors, of course, for another fee, and the potatoes on a stick were wonderful! There are animals, hayrides, pumpkin patch, etc.

This is a very unique store. We've heard that the local honey is popular so we decided to get some. The area surrounding the store is quite quiet. It's nice for a change! Service was quick as the lines went by quickly.

Fresh blueberries bread, not too sweet, with aroma of the fruit still prominent. Would have paid a little more if butter is used. Not too many ingredients. Super good. College-made cheese toppers and fruit preserves/jams will make good gifts for friends and family, but treat yourself to their smooth creamy avocado ice cream - and this, from someone who don't normally eat desserts. Friendly environment for browsing. Checkout is fast and easy.

No trip to Cal Poly Pomona can be made without a stop at this quaint little farm store. Today I picked up some fresh squeezed orange juice, handmade squid ink linguine, handmade lemon pepper linguine, and a jar of roasted garlic in seasoned sunflower oil at this student run store. Staff is always so helpful and friendly at the store and there's always something new and unique to discover. Stop by the farm store the next time you're in the area. You won't regret it.

This country in the city farm store is so stinkin cute, no one could resist spending lots of time just browsing the aisles. Then you start finding things you need and things you never thought you needed. Like candied jalapenos, you will invent new ways to eat these DELICIOUS spicy treats. I added them to my breakfast scramble this morning. The service was stellar! Nice guys working the counter, answering questions. Can not wait to come back again. Lovely little store, worth stopping in to shop.

They have many great special and exclusive products i don't find anywhere close to me and I like the farm store is helping students in different ways. Only thing, everything is a little over-priced in my opinion. And I hope it's mainly to support the students. The student staff was very friendly and helpful and I like that. Young ppl with manners. Definitely worth to check out and support responsible young people.

The Cal Poly Farm Store is an adventure for the senses. From the innovative "bring your own jar" honey offering to the wide array of beverages, there's something to delight every palate. Add in the outdoor nursery and you've got a perfect blend of retail and nature, catering to both garden enthusiasts and casual visitors alike. The friendly and efficient staff, coupled with the cleanliness of the store, adds to the overall pleasant experience, making it a must-visit destination.

We were visiting Cal Poly Pomona campus and decided to check out the charming farm store. We were impressed with the wide variety of fresh produce grown by the students. We bought some corn and yellow watermelon, both of which were delicious. They also had a good selection of hot sauce. We will definitely be back for more!

I attended Cal Poly Pomona (CPP) back in the 1990's. They didn't have the CPP Farm Store back then. When I was here the other day with my daughter, I was curious when this farm store opened. The lady at the cash register said 2001. If I did my math right... that's 10 years after my 1st year at CPP. If you did your math right... yes, I'm old, but young at heart LOL. Anyway, I was excited to check out this farm store. It has a really quaint and farm-ish flare to it. Love the dress-up on the outside! Love the set-up on the inside even more! I was WOWed at first sight... or should I say, it was love at first sight LOL. It's not a huge store, but there are lots of goodness. It has great feng shui because with that much stuff inside, it should have felt very crowded, but it didn't whatsoever which is a good thing. Whomever laid out the blue print on this store... well done! We perused the entire store and picked up a few items. Got some gnocchi, dried pasta, garlic pasta sauce, mozzarella cheese, pumpkin snacks, artisan crackers, and toasted coconut rice crispy treat (this is so GOOD!... don't just get one, get two LOL). We haven't tried the other goods yet, but I'm sure they will be of enjoyment. Staff was very friendly. Prices are actually very reasonable. Love the ambiance! Parking is free. I would recommend everyone to drop on by, check out this farm store, and pick up some goodies to take home. It's open to the public. Let's support CPP and the farm!

Graduated from Cal Poly in the early 1990s and we didn't have anything of this caliber. As a matter of fact when I started my college career in 1986 cal poly was smack dab in the middle of the desert. Nothing within a 5 mile radius but one hotel and one gas station. Well Pomona Farm Store to me is like a little bit of an oasis. Sure Pomona has expanded but this place being in the middle of corn fields and grape vineyard you feel like you're off the beaten path. If this place was around in the 80s and 90s I for sure would have walked here from my dorm room Montecito and sat in the benches here and studied. As for the store it is full of yummy goodness along with plants you can purchase. There are items that are grown and produced in the Farm here in Cal Poly so it's fresh. From potatoes to squash to onions and strawberries. From jams and spices and herbs to pickles and other delectables. Then outside there are plum trees and grape vines and peach trees and apple trees and all manner of fruit trees to buy. There are tomato plants and peppers and all manner of herb plants to buy. It isn't large by any means but it's full of goodness. It's like going to Target. You can see something you didn't notice each time you go. Come down and be mesmerized by the beauty and the calmness that is Cal Poly Farm Store.

I'm here every weekend. It's a really cute store and you can buy fruit trees and plants. They carry different flavored syrups, preserves, oils, and many other items. It's a small store, however, there are benches and shady spots in case you want to relax with the family and have a picnic. It's definitely a place to visit. Even if you don't purchase anything, the Farm Store has a calming vibe. All money spent goes back to their agriculture department.

As a Cal Poly alumni, I like coming here to support the university. I also like the fact that their fruits and vegetables are grown on campus, so I know they're fresh. Their freshly squeezed orange juice is a must try! They also have a wide selection of plants and fruit trees for sale. The staff is run by current students who are always super helpful. I highly recommend visiting if you're in the area!
