Not sure if it was racially motivated but a plus sized clerk wanted to be discriminatory on who buys what. I asked to buy an item and she said I had to wait an hour or more to buy it. 5 minutes later she sold it to someone else. Not very “Christian”like. This took place on 8/1/24 at around 9:30 a.m. first and last time visiting.

If you are a fan of the Acts thrift store in Pasadena, you may be a fan of this location as well.... As this location is a lot bigger than Pasadena. They have furniture at this location!!! And you can use your coupons towards furniture pieces!!! A lot of cool gems you can find here. Be sure to check out their boutique behind the counter. Their prices are pretty fair and decently priced... I go for the color deals and coupons! Can't wait to go back! Thrift on my friends. Cheers!

I have always loved Acts Pomona. But on Monday 12/18 I was looking at some furniture and a young adult cashier I think hes named Miles, was chcking me out and said they didnt have anymore volunteers to help carry out and he offered to help me, he helped take my item out to my car because my bad back and I wanted to take it that night so they would not sell it the next day, i just want to thank him and because of him i will be coming back

So funny so TONY and Marisa got my review taken down because they want to hide what's going on. They bullshit your community service hours and it's funny bc the owner Tony husband of manager Marissa tried to reply saying it was my fault I waited till the last minute but how when you guys don't keep the correct record of the time. You will end up having to do more hours then assigned bc they bullshit you time and time again . It is dirty. It stinks they have their MINOR children working in there because they can't find a babysitter im assuming there's homeless sleeping right all over the premises on a day-to-day basis, 24/7 7 days a week,. Everything in the store is overpriced bc it's JUNK there volunteers Steel the merchandise being donated. I can keep going on everything about this store but if your a local you know what's ups mostly all their workers are volunteers assigned from the court so majority of the money they make is profit. Don't be putting money in these selfish rude ass peoples pockets. You guys are making all this money yet you can't afford a babysitter for your kids? Or do you just like them working for you??? It's funny how they work with the court but they don't give a single shit about bullshitting your hours and not counting them correctly. In my opinion I would not come here it was the worst experience ever. they take down all the yelp reviews they don't like. Crazy to think they get away with shit like this. Take my yelp review down and I'll keep adding another one. I got all the proof that you bullshitted the hours and you know you did. & Tony you contradict yourself because the first time " didn't have enough hours" when for a fact, the hours were completed. And according to the records YOU provided TODAY the hours were in fact completed and I didn't need another extension or need to come back and waste my time again. What's your answer for that? Perfect example of wasting peoples time and not keeping the correct records and bullshitting everyone :) hope have a great day with bullshiting the rest that come your way :) :)

This thrift store is way overpriced. There are items you can find at a store brand new on sale cheaper than this thrift store. Goodwill is cheaper than this thrift store. Never returning again.
