Small place with a mix of art, some of it with a sense of humor which I always appreciate. Woman overseeing things was friendly.

I stop by whenever I'm in Pt Reyes. The art at this coop gallery ranges from good to wonderful. Don't miss the yearly Box Show.

A go to gallery when I am in town. And with a special trip to see the Box Exhibit. The show local and regional artists. The volunteers are helpful and knowledgeable. They are another reason to visit the coast. And they are just around the corner of the Mostly Natives nursery. Check them both out when you are in town.

This is a great gallery if you love contemporary painting and sculpture, or if you just like gift shops with merchandise ranging from beautiful jewelry to fun things for kids. A really FUN annual event, The Box Show (tm) runs from Friday, August 17 to Sunday September 30 this year (2018). 150 identical pine boxes are turned into 150 works of art and sold via silent and finally live auction to benefit the Gallery's community programs.

Review of the Box Show: I hate to be negative because I love this sweet little gallery and I like the concept of the Box Show, but I thought 80% of the boxes were awful (example, which I may or may not be remembering correctly: a box haphazardly painted in various blues with a photo of a whale pasted in the middle) and I liked about 5%. Is this not curated? Maybe they let anyone submit a piece, and maybe I should re-frame how I think of it - just a show of stuff random people made on a weekend. There was a really cool one that was a crowd of tiny handmade people inside the top of the box, with a mirror to make it look like they were below.

A great gallery that supports local artists. They also conduct photography workshops for the local Latino farm and ranch workers. A valuable community arts resource.
