Stay at your own risk. I have two warnings:1. take photos when you leave and if ANYTHING happens to the surrounding area, like a mushroom growing on the deck! She will write an inaccurate review/lies about you on airbnb. Take photos timestamped for when you leave proving that you did not break anything, host will blame anything possible on you.2. bring your own pillows and do not expect a good nights sleep. bed is horribly old, noisy, and uncomfortable.overall place is "surface clean" with tons of dust and dark dingy corners. Despite charging a cleaning fee, you have to wash you own dishes with a gross sponge. Charging over $200/night for this place is laughable.

I've stayed here 10+ times over the past 20 years. It is a quiet, familiar, home-away-from-home in one of the most remarkably beautiful places in the world. It is just like being in a home while you are travelling. The scenary out oat Point Reyes it is unlikely you will want to spend hours anyway. You will definitely NOT be uncomfortable. But if you want a little bit more jazzy on the decore side go to her other room which I've stayed in a couple of times It's very adult, A bit more like a stylish hotel room.Jeri, the owner, is SO nice and very concerned that you should have a fuss-free stay. The yard and garden are pleasant side benefits. Have your breakfast outside, if you wish. Great for a family, 2 couple group, I would expect. Point Reyes itself should go done on your list as a special place. Heartwarming, rural yet chic, farmy, boviney, undiscovered and WAY quiet!! The town rolls up the sidewalks at about 8, except for the one, charming, old-style watering hole. Just writing about it makes me SO want to go!!

We stayed at the Hideaway, as we have in the past, and our stay there reminded us of what absolute silence “sounds” like. This is the perfect place to relax and recharge your soul. Listening to the duo of owls in the evening while sipping wine is not something I experience in my day to day life! Comfy bed, wonderful patio. A perfect home base for cycling around the beautiful Tomales Bay Area. The Hideaway was very clean and check-in/out procedures were clear and emailed with confirmation. We will be back. ?

Excellent place to stay in Point Reyes Station. Very cozy place and Jerri the owner makes you feel very welcomed. A real keeper on my list of places to stay. Can't wait to go back...Rebecca

My husband, dog and I have stayed here on and off for years. We've tried both the small and larger cottages and enjoyed them both. Usually go for the smaller cottage since we don't need the extra room. Very comfortable, perfectly appointed, love the private courtyard! Also very fond of the owner--perfectly friendly and helpful, not at all intrusive.

My wife and dogs and I have stayed here twice...once in the larger cottage and once in the smaller one. We loved them both and highly recommend Berry Patch for a nice getaway.
