Indulge In Your Chocolate Addictions SITREP Before heading to the Taste Bar & Restaurant, we wandered to and stopped into this luscious nearby establishment: I was IMMEDIATELY SEIZED by a divine vision of Chocolate Truffles that overcame my sense. But when I came to, I realized I had merely *blinked*, for presenting themselves and populating the refrigerated display case in front of me, were a group of Chocolate Truffles. THE SETUP These aren't your local truffles either: these babies come all the way from Texas, where they know how to be *whip up* into shape, and lasso'd into a golden box corral! They are not INexpensive: $3.50 each - but I am willing to indulge my craving for magnificent, delicious, spiritually-altering, mind-bending chocolate experiences! For me, the box of SIX - that would be $21 according to regular math - was discounted to $18, and so yes, I fell for that psychological marketing ploy. I broke my limited selections down to: * TWO Dark Raspberries Truffles (I KNOW what I like) * TWO Espresso Cafe Truffles (I KNOW what I like - these SHOULD be called "The Nipples of Venus" a la AMADEUS) * ONE "Big Wigs" (Peanut Butter Truffle, feelin chancy); and, * ONE "Showgirls!" (White Chocolate Raspberry Truffle, ME throwin caution to the wind and livin wild!) REALITY BITES (FOR MY FRIENDS, ANYWAYS) ;) No, I did NOT share. All for me. (All for me). Next time. = I et a Chocolate Raspberry and a Chocolate Espresso on the car trek back home this past Saturday evening.... *Mmmm* ("Ohhhhhh") = I et the White Chocolate Raspbeery and the Peanut Butter on Sunday *MMMMM (Tonguegasm); and, = I et the 2nd of each of the Chocolate Raspberry and the Chocolate Espresso last night. Besides, the 4 remaining truffles BARELY survived being stowed inside my computer case, trying to protect them from the hot 100 degree sun, and the car trip back. = Pro-tip: should always carry a cooler in the car for spontaneous moments like this during the summer - I'll remember this next time. THE LOWDOWN Soooooo worth it.....

How convenient, once again I arrived in Plymouth before Taste opened for lunch. So.........I spent some time shopping in this fabulous boutique just a few doors away. I love this shop- the personal service is absolutely the BEST. Welcomed upon walk-in, or in our case, as soon as we stepped on the sidewalk out front. The staff helped us find the right sizes, and if the item came in other colors. She also helped with suggestions of creating different looks. And takes all the items to a dressing room for you so you can keep looking. Rodeo Drive service on Main Street Plymouth. That's why I stop here every time I'm in the area. The clothes styles are unique. The fabrics are always so soft, and even after dozens of washings, hold their softness, color and shape. There's a small public lot across the street for easy parking in the Main Street area.

I bought a box of 6 different truffles as a hostess present. Asked the nice lady there for her personal recommendations. Imagine how embarrassed I was when my hostess tasted one and it was dry, old and horrible! Same with the next one....we threw the box away. Not COOL!

I stumbled upon this boutique during a Yelp Sip and Stroll event in downtown Plymouth. They have a great jewelry selection and it all seemed very reasonably priced. They also have a wide variety of clothing for a relatively small space. In addition, they also sell hand made chocolates. Yum!

What a beautiful little place! I recently stumbled upon this during the Sip and Stroll event Friday night (what a great event as well!). I intended to walk in just to get some wine and a quick snack but ended up walking around. They have some really cute jewelry, I don't wear jewelry but I told my hubby that if I did I would by theirs. It was very unique and high quality. They also have a large selection of yummy goodies including hand made chocolates which my hubby purchased and enjoyed. Their clothing selection is pretty expansive for such a small shop, they had a lot of cute stuff and anyone can find something they will like. And the prices are so reasonable... I spotted a dress that would be great for the bridal shower I was attending the next day and was pleasantly surprised at the price tag but was even more excited when I found out it was on clearance... I couldn't pass it up. Overall this is a cute place, customer service was good despite the large # of people in there for the Sip and Stroll and the quality and price can't be beat. I'll definitely be stopping in again.

A great place to pick up Chocolate Fish coffee (roasted in Sacramento) beans or pour-over, locally made hand-crafted truffles, and a wide range of delicious teas, spices, marinades and more. Customer service is great and employees are exceptionally knowelgeable about everything in the shop.
