The lack of service and professionalism at the pharmacy is terrible. Significant hold times, medications on back order or not available for days. This week my Husband was forced to move his diabetes medication to another pharmacy since because Walgreens did not have his monthly Trulicity for about a week. It’s on backorder. We have been going to this pharmacy for two years and it has not gotten any better. I am not sure if this pharmacy knows how to order for its customers or it is just keep medications on backorder to keep profit margins higher and no waste. It’s not about the consumer needs at this Walgreens. I telephoned the pharmacy and was put on a 12 minute hold. Four times during the call I was there was one call ahead of me. No opportunity to say anything. Just click. Sometimes it would ring and put back on hold. Finally spoke to a pharmacist who said your order should be ready. Then comes back and says we need to order it tomorrow. I have been out for two days of a required daily medication. I order on time every month. Plumas Lake needs another pharmacy. Walgreens is just not robust enough to manage it patrons long term medications timely.

Basically if you needs meds, they will never have it ready. Doc sent it over in the AM, went in the evening. It’s not ready.

I don't know what the negative reviews are all about and I cannot attest to those (could be a one time thing), but my only frustration is the time it takes to get your meds in pharmacy drive-thru, which is well over 15 minutes each time (twice) I came here even though there was only a car or two in front of me. I also however understand that it could be the time of day, or people might have extra questions about their prescriptions. But all in all, it's a decent drugstore. Inside the store, I have not had a bad experience, either with customer service or their products. It's good to have a pharmacy store in Plumas Lake, consider this a blessing, people.. or feel free to drive to Yuba, Marysville, or Lincoln. And all these stores also have a mid- or bad rating. Cheers.

Reasonably overpriced due to high demand but alarming amounts of expired food. This juice (expired for over a month) along with most of the breads have been expired. The milk’s expiration dates are also over a week ago! I only shop here for emergencies because it’s close by however I wouldn’t shop here regularly. The picture-taking staff are every nice and they helped us when we took our passport pictures although their camera was broken. They tried their best for 2 hours until we have to go to a more reliable location.

THIS IS A WARNING TO THE PEOPLE WHO ARE LOOKING TO SHOP AT ANY WALGREENS, PLEASE DO NOT SHOP AT BAD COMPANIES SUCH AS WALGREENS, MANAGEMENT AND EMPLOYEE, EXTREMELY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE, IT IS UNFORTUNATE HOW EMPLOYEES HAVE TO DO WHAT MANAGEMENT TELLS THEM OR THEY WILL BE FIRED!!!! EVEN THOUGH IT IS AGAINST THE LAW AND WALGREENS BREAKING THIER OWN POLICIES BY THE WAY THEY TREAT CUSTOMERS AND EMPLOYEES!!!!! BUT AS ALL BAD COMPANIES HISTORY IS THAT FOR SURE THIS COMPANY WILL NOT LAST, WALGREENS HAVE A SHORT LIFE TERM AS A COMPANY AND HAVE BEEN IN SO MANY LAWSUITS AND SO MANY MORE LAWSUITS TO COME THAT WILL NOT BE ABLE TO COMPETE WITH OTHE BIGGER STORES, AS THERE ARE SO MANY STORES WITH PHARMACIES WALGREENS HAVE CLOESD SO MANY STORES AND WILL EVENTUALLY CLOSE DOWN!!!!!

Typical Walgreens except that they have fridge/freezer doors that show what's inside without opening them, or what's supposed to be there anyway.

Terrible pharmacy. I hate to use the word lie but they don't tell the complete truth. They tell you the medication is out of stock and they have ordered only to find out they never ordered and processed the wrong insurance info which is why no medication. Very annoying when you're waiting days!!! No professionalism. I also went for a shot. Seriously NO ONE waiting. I waited 30 mins past my appt time. WHY?!! Just terrible. I'm tired of dealing with this place. Convenient or not I'm going elsewhere.

I am new to this area and I was forewarned about this Walgreens from friends and family. I didn't believe it till I experienced it myself. The staff that work at the pharmacy are so damn rude! When you call to refill prescriptions, they never answer their phone, or they have you on hold for a long time or when they do answer they are so rude and they literally try to rush you off the phone. This is the first Walgreens location I have ever had such bad customer service. I have family and friends who lives in Plumas Lake but they all get their medications filled at the Walgreens in yuba city because of the horrible customer service at this location in Plumas lake and that's just sad because we all live in this area. I work in customer service and this is unacceptable. The staff here needs proper customer service training. This is ridiculous! I will be contacting their corporate office.

Never again will I call the Plumas Lake location located on River Oaks BLVD., I called them to enquire about the COVID vaccine and was treated very rudely. The associate sounded very disinterested when answering my questions about it. And once she said that I had to schedule an appointment for the vaccination online she promptly hung up on me. I had other questions that I had wanted to ask, but after today's treatment over the phone, I'll just take my business to a different location where the staff is very much friendlier. For a store that was not busy at all at the time I was calling (I was driving by on the road when I called, so I know that the parking lot was almost empty) they sure were in a hurry to get rid of me. This location is local to where I live so it's convenient for me to just walk in and get a few things, but I've never been treated like that over the phone before and I am seriously annoyed that they didn't want to take the time to care.
