I am so grateful to have found Bernard, The Car Finder. He sold us a fabulous, reliable car for our twin daughters. I put a down payment on the car before I ever saw it based on our phone conversation. He drove it 2 hours up to meet us as we were out of town and he was right, I was NOT disappointed when I saw it in person. On the drive up he realized it was pulling a little to the left. He not only told me about it but said to take it to my mechanic and that he would cover the cost of whatever the repair was. He had me a check based on my mechanics estimate before it was even out of the shop! I would highly recommend his services and he will be my first stop if I am ever in the market for a new/used car again!

Bernard is a man of his word and he runs an honest business. He knows a lot about cars and how to treat a customer. Of all the car dealers I have interacted with he is by far the best.

Bernard is a true professional. After searching for months, I found a 04' Subaru Outback H6 listed in his site for sale. After some discussion, we agreed to proceed with the purchase. I live in Southern California and Bernard was kind enough to go out of his way to pick me up from the airport to San Jose and let me drive the car back to his location to finish the sale. Shortly after getting the vehicle home to Los Angeles, I discovered the vehicle needed some major power steering repairs. I immediately contacted Bernard who was more than agreeable to rectifying the situation. I can say that the vehicle is now repaired and Bernard was a great in coming to an agreeable remedy for the issue. I would not hesitate to buy another car from him again. No one should feel uncomfortable about a purchase from The Car Finder!

I purchased a 2012 Bmw X5 in February 2023. The Vehicle had approximately 83k. The interior and exterior where in good condition. I drove the vehicle from California to Idaho where I reside (Approximately 900 miles). Within another 300 miles the vehicle died and completely shut down on the highway. The Bmw Dealership stated that the wrong size oil filter had been placed on the vehicle and metal shavings had been found in the oil. BMW stated catastrophic engine failure. The filter that was placed on the vehicle was for a 325 E46 not a V8 motor. Very disappointing. I would suggest a full vehicle inspection if anyone decides to purchase a vehicle thru The Car Finder.

Absolutely terrible purchase from Bernard “The Car Finder.” Send my Father to inspect and purchase a 2009 BMW wagon that looked very clean in the pictures. To Bernards credit he did statethe condition of the car was a little worse then pictured however it was still a nice low mileage example. My Father who is up in age was not able to crawl around the unit to inspect all the areas of the car and that was a big mistake on my part. The entire underside of the car was damaged. The right rocker was badly scraped, the splash shield was torn in half and above 60mph would start making a slapping sound that was unbearable. The front bumper had been hastily repaired and repainted. The headlight wiring harness was burnt and needed to be replaced. The fog lamp on the driver side was hardwired and packed with silicone to stop it from arching out. The parking sensor was left hanging with bailing wire. The rear bumper fasteners were half missing, and the interior which was the only positive point of the car is now stating to flake from the interior dye he used. Long story short I am thankful that I have the ability to fix this Car on my own. Any less mechanically inclined individuals would have been looking at a few hundred or more in repairs depending on the level on honesty their technician demonstrates. On an added note I have yet to receive the Registration for the vehicle almost a month after purchase. This was promised to be picked up and shipped the day after purchase. So yes, another strike against this business.So in conclusion I would exercise extreme caution and prejudice when dealing with The Car Finder. A good looking deal can very possible cost you a lot more in the long run. I hope this review is viewed as a tool as to importance you as the consumer must take to guide yourself from shifty and deceptive business like this.

I just bought my 2nd Volvo S60 from Bernard. These guys are great! I saw it on his website on a Friday and he had me preapproved that evening. I went to pick up the car on the following Tuesday and was in and out in an hour. Runs great, super clean, and was priced under KBB. You can tell he really cares about his customers and the business. I'm not sure why I only gave four stars the last time. That must've been a mistake because this is definitely a five-star experience. Thank you!

We live in Colorado. My son is about to turn 16 and we've been planning for more than a year to find his first car in another state and drive it home together as a father-son road trip. So you can imagine finding a car that is as good and reliable as advertised is paramount. We'd been looking for months for a good, low-mileage '05 VW Golf GTI (my son's most-desired car). Bernard, The Car Finder, posted one on Car Gurus and we were just lucky enough to be one of the first people to see it. 77K original miles on a 16-year old car. I called the number on the listing and spoke with Bernard. Right away, it was clear something was different about him. He was very open and honest about any flaws the car had (faded paint on the roof, sagging headliner, etc.), but intimated that the car was in fantastic shape mechanically, other than needing a battery, which he said he would replace no matter what. The mechanical aspects were what we cared about most since we would have a 1,300-mile drive ahead of us after picking up the car. We asked if we could have a pre-purchase inspection and Bernard was happy to deliver the car wherever we wanted it to be looked at by a mechanic. I don't know about you, but I've asked that of other car sellers (dealer and private) and been met with indignant outrage at that request. We had the car inspected and the only issues the mechanic came back with were the faded paint, interior, and battery issues I mentioned above. We very quickly came to a mutually agreeable price in the most pleasant exchange of offers I've ever experienced. He was trusting with us about Fedex-ing a cashier's check and let us know when it was received. During the two weeks between making the deal and flying out to pick up the car, Bernard was communicative and attentive with any questions I had. Our flight out to Pleasanton just happened to fall on Father's Day weekend, which made the trip all the more special for me and my son. We arrived at Bernard's business by Uber and he let us take all the time we needed to ensure the car was as described. He was as gracious and accommodating with his time as could be, and even gave us a couple of chilled bottled waters he'd bought for us for the road. We just got back home last night and the car performed flawlessly all the way. Not one single issue the whole 3 days and 1,300 miles. My son is over the moon about his car and we both will always have some great road trip memories from this experience. Thanks, Bernard.

After a lot of looking on the internet I found the suburban that I had been looking for,a 3/4 ton 4wd with an 8.1 liter engine. Bernard did a live video for me as we live in Spokane,Wa. My wife and I flew down and test drove the truck and it checked out fine. We made the deal an drove it back to Spokane. Two days later Bernard sent me the title. It was great to work with a person of integrity. I highly recommend The Car Finder.

Transmission problems on my daily commuter prompted me to begin my journey towards the purchase of a new car. Oddly enough, I stumbled across "The Car Finder" via an add on Craigslist while searching for my new vehicle. Speaking with Bernard over the phone (and ultimately in person) was effortless and pleasantly enjoyable. He answered all of my questions, let me stop by anytime to inspect/test drive the car, and displayed a great level of professionalism during my shopping process. Furthermore, a full 27 point inspection, new timing belt, new brakes and rotors, and clean fluids were all included in his asking price. I felt blown away by the attention to detail and the work that was executed in my new car prior to finalizing this transaction. My highest recommendations go towards Bernard and The Car Finder. Check this one out...you will not be disappointed!

Bernard was extremely helpful in getting live video of the suburban that I was interested in. My wife and I flew down to Oakland from Spokane and test drove the truck and it all checked out. We made the deal and drove it back to Spokane. All went very smoothly and 2 days later I received the title in the mail. Overall a very good experience. Thank you Bernard. It nice to deal with a person of integrity.

I reached out to Bernard inquiring about a vehicle he was selling. That specific vehicle did not work out but Bernard is such a genuine person that he never stopped helping me. Eventually I found the vehicle I was looking for and purchased it directly from a private seller. Bernard was there the whole time and helped arrange for the transportation of the vehicle across the country. His guidance and assistance helped my family get out new vehicle. Thank you Bernard!

Very rude. Called me d*** and told me my 2015 ram with 90,000 miles is worse that there 2006 with 160,0000 miles. Said my truck was worth less and told me I knew nothing.

Hands down the best experience i've had when buying a car, Bernard goes above and beyond expectations and will help you any way possible to get you the best deal with excellent condition cars. I was looking for a van or truck online for my business and I couldnt find a single vehicle that fit what I was looking for. A buddy of mine told me about this place and I called them to see if they can actually find me the vehicle I wanted. They asked me what I needed and the next day emailed me with what they had available to them. They found the perfect vehicle! Clean title, low milage work truck. Its exactly what I wanted with a price that I can afford!
This place is legit, the owner is patient and very helpful. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
