Hair stylist is very nice and offers good service, but the wait was 2 hours. I did a layered haircut, and I wouldn’t say it’s bad, but it’s not the best. I would come here for monthly trims, but not new hairstyles.

This store is moved to Dublin, north of 580. Very close to the old one in Pleasanton. Be aware! Don't go to this place! This person talks nicely and politely then I thought he might be good. I had the most ugly haircut in my life. What a nightmare! How can he do this job without a basic concept of style? Even if he had paid me $500 I wouldn't let him cut my hair! This person just want to finish the cut asap even no one was waiting. No hair wash, no water sprinklered to the hair. Just took a few minutes to cut. I told him to cut the same style I have. He didn't follow what I said at all and just cut whatever he wants. I really don't think he can be in this business. I also waited for 20 minutes. He didn't say anything when I was waiting. He has no respect to the appointment.

I walked in for a haircut on a quiet weekday, even though there were some bad reviews. The owner KK was very nice and chatty, and he seemed experienced. His store has been around for 10 years, and he's a HK hairstylist. Since his reservation that afternoon flaked on him, I didn't have any problem with him rushing or being distracted, as some ppl mentioned. I found him to be thorough and attentive to the style I requested. My only complaint was that he really overcharged me for a hair product that he sold me. I paid him $65 for a bottle of whatever deep conditioning product he recommended, come to find that it can be purchased at Walmart for $47. Partially my fault for looking it up I guess. I'll return but I won't fall for it again :P

I had an appointment at 2 and had to wait almost an hour before I got my hair cut as there were 2 people ahead of me. I showed him the picture I wanted, and he looked at it for 0.5 seconds before saying he got it. I asked for curtain bangs with little wispy bangs, and he gave me straight on Dora bangs that are, get this, UNEVEN, one side is shorter than the other and it looks nothing like the picture. When confronted about it, his attitude was terrible, he said it was just because I don't look like that person. No sir, it's because you don't know what you are doing. I have had that haircut before and it looked great on me, I can't even hide it and tuck it behind my ear to cover it because it is so short. Stay away from here, go somewhere else. It might be cheaper, but you will also look cheaper in the end. Abandon Hope All Ye Who Enter Here, don't say I didn't warn you. XOXO

If I can give a negative star , will give 5 negative star to this place. Beware! I called the place to make an appointment, he agreed to see me, but at the time of my appointment (mind you, came in 5mins. before), he seemed he just started coloring another client, when I asked, how much long, he said 20minutes! & asked me if it's ok, I said "No, it's not ok" and left. To this hairdresser, you are making Asian business people look bad with your business actions, accepting appointments and have us wait more than 5 mins. Of agreed appt. is totally unacceptable!!!

Nice & pleasant salon atmosphere, friendly and attentive stylist/owner. Like he has control of his salon, what to do & when to do as he sees fit. I browsed through the hair magazine & found exactly what I was looking for and asked if he could emulate that and he said: "yes" without hesitation which was kind of surprising since I usually get "no, can't do b/c of whatever.." from other stylists, and usually have to compromise. He nailed it exactly like the picture, the perfect balayage/highlight & the color on my long lock

DO NOT TRUST a scheduled appointment that the guy whose name is "KK" set up with you. I have been waiting for 30 minutes and I even don't know when will be my turn. If you can wait for more than 40 minutes even though you had an appointment, go ahead to have haircut at this store, otherwise, you are wasting your time!

I made appointment, for highlight, cut and styling and I sent a picture to KK, and he texted me back, that No problem, he can do the same still and color for highlight. I was in his office for more than 4 hours, and finally I got a highlight that was not the same color. when I said to him he was angry and yelled at me saying that I am the first customer complaining. I never had such a bad customer service in my life. I will not go back there, and I suggest you the same.

I had very good experience with Soho hair salon. I love the finger wave style they ( the assistant lady ) made it for me on The Gatsby party. Everyone said they like my hair style. It was amazing!

The first time I took my kid there for a haircut by KK (the sole hair stylist there and salon owner, I guess). Everything went smoothly. However, this review is base on the experience of our second visit. It started out as KK told his apparent assistant (or helper, or apprentice) cut my child's hair without our consent so he could continue coloring another customer's hair. I spoke out that the appointment was with KK. He then told us to wait, no explanation or apology given. 20 minutes after our scheduled appointment time, KK finally set off to cut my child's hair. Comparing to our first time there, I could tell that KK was obviously rushing this haircut thru, perhaps because he wanted to go back to that hair-coloring task. As expected, the haircut didn't look nearly as good as the first one. Toward the end, I pointed out some flaws and asked if improvement could be made. KK threw his hands out and said " WHY DON'T YOU SHOW ME HOW TO CUT IT? YOU DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT HAIR." Needless to say, I told him to just finish it up, then we paid and walked out. (I even tipped out of habit. Totally regret doing that.) If you are dying to spend $40+ as well as indefinite time despite having an appointment on your child's haircut AND get scolded by the stylist, KK is your man.

Very good service here. Clean store with nice environment. The owner is super nice and detail oriented. He took his time to make sure he understand what I want and make it happen.
