I really like this safeway. They are just too expensive. Safeway in general that is. Sometimes they have good sale prices. But at time the same brand, same label. Same everything is 2 to 3 times more expensive than other stores.

Got bad experience at self service checkout today at about 11 am. At the beginning, only the number 1 self check at the enteance was available and we moved our shopping cart aside as possible as we can to allow other customer to able to come in. But this Safeway employee at the sef check told us to move further aggressively. It made us surprised. After that, during our checkout, some bar code scan are not working well and get stuck. Requested for her help and eventhough we said thank you to her, no response, did not acknowledge our thanks at all. Very inpatient and obviously showed to customers by her manner and body language to leave the store as possible as they can and want to finish her job . We live in Pleasanton and use to shop at this store for almost 2 years as our neighborhoodgrocery store. Most of the employees are friendly and helpful. This is the first time the Safeway employee made us surprised with working altitude regarding on customer service.

Shopping was good with a large selection of items. Trying to access wifi absolutely Horrendous!. Impossible to log in and access Safeway's app. Can't use digital coupons etc because of no access.

Customer service very bad. All Safeway lie for free gift everytime I go there they said all sold out. If sold out don't post on Safeway add said free gift. I think maybe the employees hide all gift for friends and family.

If I can give this a 0 I would. Not because of the their product but for their services. The only reason I come to this Safeway is because it's near my work place. Usually I wait until Wednesday to do my shopping. That's when the sales start. When I'm there around 6-6:30am most of the time the meat is not ready or even if I see someone, nothing is set up. Why bother to say the store opens at 5am but nothing is ready? Happens way too many times. Wastes my time.

I accidentally used the wrong card I asked him to cancel so I could use my EBT He Said ok and cancelled it but I double checked and it didn't cancel so he called someone and she said sorry nothing we can do about it
I wasn't happy because that wasn't even my card it's my clients bank card I keep it for him because he's blind and I'm his caregiver she said she can't cancel it hmm well then why did the cashier say he cancelled it? Can't Void it? She said no come back tomorrow and talk to someone hmm so if they make a mistake they can't fix it until the next day WELL I live far away I just come to help my client this makes no sense and I left PISSED

Safeway is my preferred supermarket and the savings with the app are great.This Safeway deserves special recognition. I had an issue with a clipped coupon on the app at self checkout, and the woman that helped me was a role model for good customer service.

Safeway Gas station was closed which was fine since I got there after hour. However, pumps were operational. Gas station was clean with very wide space to drive and pumped gas without any difficulties. Even as late as it was, was impressed with the cleanliness and service.It's excellent!

Good morning Safeway! How are you all doing? Its me, Daniel Rita's Beauty Intoxication. Gosh, it has been a while and I wish I could go to Aspen? Have you ever been to Colorado? I was offered to go there back when we had Gay.com. Gay Days was fun when we use to do that. Kelly Rowland performed the day that we went to it. I went with my friend Kyle and I forgot my other friends name that we went with. If its been awhile since we talked its like Perfect Strangers. But I am writing this because well in life its about numbers and what is the sum or the root of the us having the economic equality from playing a game of Four Square. Do you remember playing that game in elementry school? Well yesterday I had Duo Combo Rainbow & Spicy Roll with a Chickpot pie and Mix nut Quad as a sample. I had a security breach at a tent up north that triggered some to do the unimaginable on with the chain of events. Team work is everything and they had Lazar refuse to help out. We use to have the Rainbow Community Club in Concord of which we had Rainbow in Stockton. I use to go to Delta. I did a year at Junior College. I recently was there and I was in a pinch trying to figure out where everything one was and BJ's had the best pizza there if you are in that area, I recommend that. Any who, throughout the paths of life, we all have several routes. Today a Berekely Farms just took to of my crates that was with my carts that I have. I remember the team that we had a few years back as well as years ago. Do you remember 1990? I remember the earthquake in 89 and my swing set that I had. Talk about a shift when doing the swing. Makes me wonder at times. Who do I talk to in the area about doing the accounting? I had my ex partners mini cooper stolen in Oakland a few years back. They emptied everything out there trying to make something else work. Insurance on that song "can I get a refill?" With the production. Anywho, just on the street trying to be point in the right direction on this without an interjection?

Absolutely terrible how “Robert” the liquor manager acts. He picks and chooses who he sells the allocated rare bourbons to, and throws a disrespectful tantrum when confronted about it. He flashed on my senior citizen father and I after we were sent to this store by another manager when told what they had in stock and he yelled at us for knowing he had bottles hidden in the back. After 15-20 minutes of arguing and arm wrestling for a bottle then another one of the managers told him to just bring out one of the bottles from his office to sell to us. He then stormed off in defeat as im sure one of his “buddies” wont be getting to stock pile rare bourbons this time. Robert will text them and hold the bottles back until his friends appear time after time for bottles. I keep hearing terrible similar stories about this guy doing this over and over, its even being discussed on facebook forums. Who is he to wheel and deal with Safeways merchandise as if its his own collection, picking and choosing who he wants to sell to. Horrible! Hey Robert, news flash! The stores merchandise isn't yours for you to sneak around and discriminate over who you sell to based on favors and kissing up to you. Unprofessional and extremely shady. Maybe Safeways higher-ups can look into this because it really is sickening the level of greed and shady business going on here.

We routinely shop with them. I regularly see the discrepancy between the price posted under the item and price they charge on the counter. I always try to remember the item price while I am putting it in the cart and make sure this is reflected during check out. This is not possible when you purchase a lot of things. One day, when I purchased around 10 items, 3 had higher than displayed price during checkout.
